Re: Paypal Fees on Tax

Yep exactly, how can the buyer pay fees on the sales tax that the buyer pays.

That doesn't sound legal.

I've googled this and it appears to be a very recent thing and causing a big stir.

Re: Paypal Fees & Tax query

Putting aside the fact that Paypal fees have gone up... Paypal fees are not just a charge on the item and postage costs anymore. They are also now charging a fee for the sales tax collected by EBAY !!! They are charging a fee on a sales tax that the seller has nothing to do with and the seller doesn...

Re: Paypal Fees & Tax query

Ah ok. It was confusing because it said VAT. US doesn't pay VAT. So its a US tax!? I gather paypal fees for US to UK have now risen to 4.9% plus 30p. Wow when did that happen? On top of that it appears Paypal charge the fee on the item, postage and also the tax the buyer pays! So I pay fees on the b...

Paypal Fees on Tax

Just looked at an eBay paypal transaction and not sure whats going on with tax (VAT) and fees. Never noticed the buyer (in the US) paying tax. The email said it was VAT. Also how much are the paypal fees? £6.65 is 5.4% of £123 !! That doesn't sound right! Amount £111.00 Postage £12.00 Tax£6.66 Purch...

Rebel Commander Rifle v Survival kit version

I wasn’t aware that the survival kit Rebel Commander rifle was unique and different to the one that came with the actual figure. It is apparently very flexible whereas the version that comes with the figure is much harder. I’ve just had a figure rejected but AFA due to this. I don’t know enough abou...

Re: Resealed figure discovery debate - G.Kurtz Palitoy VC Jawa.

Is it coincidence that Tony just sold a very mint PBP Bossk which just so happens to be the figure on so many questionable Palitoy 45b cards?

Still looked cool though. Incredible how all the red colour completely faded away but the blue was still there.

How did CAS grade this a 90?

How did CAS grade this a 90? OK first I'm surprised that a grading company would give a 90 grade when paint apps are missing. But putting that aside there are plenty of visable rubs to the paint on that figure. 90 seems very generous. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-1978-Kenner-Star-Wars-ERROR-Lu...

Re: UKG 90 Han Solo Pinhead... REALLY?

Yeah I’ve blocked that guy on eBay. He was constantly price gouging me on graded figures. The prices I was selling at were the same as I bought them for or the same as the price of the figure and grading costs so I was not making any profit. I didn’t mind him asking but he was annoyingly persistent ...

Re: SPOILERS THREAD-The Rise of Skywalker-SPOILERS THREAD

I saw TROS today and my objective opinion is as follows: It’s was the best possible ending I could have expected considering the mediocre start with TFA and the completely shambolic TLJ. Rian Johnson threw it all away and it was just about repaired. It resurrected the storylines of Snoke, Knights of...
