Yeah I got my items on Tuesday -exactly 3 weeks.

Re: Next Vectis Auction?

I'd hadn't noticed that but I checked the email and you are right. Well I guess it's only a few days away from 21 days so hopefully that will mean we should receive them by end of next week.

Re: Next Vectis Auction?

You are probably right, in these times you need a bit of extra patience and understanding. However when a company is charging 25% commission to the buyer and probably something similar to the seller and making £k's, it makes you wonder how they can manage to get the invoices out to everyone the same...

Re: Competition Etiquette

You seem to be the one crying because I removed the list.

But that’s fine Anthony, just stop bombarding me and other collectors with constant questions about rarity. You can work it out for yourself from now on.

Re: Competition Etiquette

The idea of a gentleman’s agreement where one does not bid against the other sounds idyllic but when it comes to really rare items then you have got to be getting something in return. If you want the really rare items then you have to accept a level of resistance and competition unless collecting i...

Re: Competition Etiquette

I can appreciate that collectors with knowledge and experience of particular card rarities often regret sharing the information publicly, particularly if new collectors then start chasing after those pieces just because they are rare and the result is a big price increase. Unfortunately it just lea...

Re: Next Vectis Auction?

I definitely agree that a lot of people probably have some extra cash on their hands with cancelled holidays, no work travel costs and no going out costs. And I also think that the lockdown situation has probably increased the urge for a bit of a splurge! Not to mention a lot of people sitting aroun...

Re: Next Vectis Auction?

Bloody hell. Crazy prices. I won 3 lots but paid a bout 20% more than I'd hoped on all of them. Lost 2 lots that just went too high for me.

Since when did 45b start going above £1000!!

Cheers mate! Anyone want to buy a DVD

I think I’ll keep it as a reminder of my impatience. Or a reminder not to listen to other people

Re: Disney + from outside the US

Probably right. And I hope you are right now I just bought the DVD

I do have a feeling there will be something special released or announced on 4th May. Probably should have waited a week or 2 but patience is definitely not my strong point :D
