Re: Jawa (Vinyl Cape) & Yuk Face... Authentic?

The figure itself is the right figure for the Toltoys vinyl cape http://theswca.com/images-forei/toltoys-esb-vcjawa.html and at first glance the cape also looks correct for the Australian version so if you bought it in Australia from a childhood collection it could be authentic. This cape is easily...

Re: Jawa (Vinyl Cape) & Yuk Face... Authentic?

I have to say that the color of the Jawa's cape looks a bit off to me. It could be the way the light is bouncing off of it but if you have a Ben Kenobi with cape then put that next to it to see if it's the same color (as it shouldn't be). This color looks closer to an Australian one but that color a...

I knew we could all trust in you Andy with your various examples and once again you didn't disappoint :D Great collection and knowledge and these have been a weekly highlight on here Lars so keep up the great work! I'll be posting again soon enough and I'll try to go back to a few of the earlier pos...

Re: Genuine or fake VC Jawas...

I see where you're coming from but maybe the seller is worried that someone might send a fake one off to UKG and then send that one back to them. These higher value figures like this and also some weapons are a little worrying to sell through something like eBay as there are plenty of people who try...

Re: Amazing vintage find!

That's a fantastic find and good on you for trying to offer a reasonable price first off. That Yoda 30 back is probably missing from a fair few collectors collections so that's a big score right there.

Re: Latest Acquisitions

Great variety of items this past week or so. Love the capo Jawa and Michael Sith has found himself the best vintage item IMO. Love the ESB R2, but still have never owned one. Here's my latest - the pair to my Galaxy Ray Gun, the original Spanish version. Happy memories of holidays in Spain. These d...

Re: Latest Acquisitions

Some nice items, like the hoth trooper, looks great! I picked this up recently, bubble had dropped off, got some clear pva glue from the local diy shop, reattached it. I know people don’t like this being done, it does look much better though, for sure Nothing wrong with a bit of handy work in my bo...

Re: New Poon Rocket Firing Fett "Prototypes"

These don't look too bad, would look nice on display. I know people frown upon buying from him but I did go for his kitbashed Fett a while back. https://live.staticflickr.com/4174/34630429015_f78506d475_c.jpg I picked up this one also and it's really nicely put together. Things like this or the Roc...

Re: Wow stunning example but what a price

I can't believe there's no love for the cardboard Death Star, it's the ultimate playset from the 1977-85 line. I couldn't agree more, my favorite toy/playset growing up without doubt and way better than the Cantina that I didn't end up playing that much with (which ironically I still have unlike my...

Re: Episode 9...your personal feelings

It's new Star Wars so I'll have to see it but I'm not that excited right now but it would only take a great trailer to get my interest re-ignighted. I run a little hot and cold with JJ, I'm not sure he's made the perfect movie yet for me but he's always in the right area and I do believe he's the cl...

Another cracking episode guys and some great stories from Celebration past. I'm sure you're going to have a great time out in Chicago and can't wait to hear what you all got up to on next months show. Nice to have Jez back as well all safe on home soil and I'm glad my Palitoy Chewbacca made it safel...

Re: Is this Threepio Palitoy 12 back card legit or not

Looking at the hole punch area it looks all good to me and the bubble must have not been attached right at the factory for the bubble to come off so cleanly. i do have a Palitoy 20 back Walrus Man that was a bubble fail so it could have happened to a 12 back. Maybe TT did get some of these card back...

Re: 30 back Lando Moc

Nice one Carl :D

The only thing that made me wonder was the top right corner of the bubble seal as it was hard to know for sure that it was ok from the sellers pictures. I'm sure it's all good though with it hand and great price for a 30 back.
