Re: TFA Destroys Box Office

Nice to see TFA holding up well vs A:EG. EG smashed the opening weekend records and looks like it could catch Avatar worldwide. However, despite being miles ahead of TFA over the first week of release, both here and in the US, TFA's small drops have allowed it to reel Endgame in and it's now comfor...

Re: Which figure would you keep?

It depends on if you like to see Lukes face or not. :D

If you really don't have a preference then I'd probably keep the one that's harder to find and get again as you never know when a focus might strike.

Re: RIP Peter Mayhew!

It does feel like an old friend passing, really sad news but at least he must have known the love for him and his character right up until the end. It feels like Ep 9 will be rightfully dedicated to him and hopefully his character will get something more substantial to do this time around. You will ...

Re: Time travel investment

In ‘85 in the UK it would have to be 2 Trilogo Yaks, which these days would be £2-3K Dial the time machine back to ‘80 and you’d want 2 Palitoy 30 back Fetts which in today’s money would be north of £50K Head back s bit further to ‘78 and then you probably want Palitoy 12 back Chewies at about £6K ...

Re: Jawa (Vinyl Cape) & Yuk Face... Authentic?

The figure itself is the right figure for the Toltoys vinyl cape http://theswca.com/images-forei/toltoys-esb-vcjawa.html and at first glance the cape also looks correct for the Australian version so if you bought it in Australia from a childhood collection it could be authentic. This cape is easily...

Re: Jawa (Vinyl Cape) & Yuk Face... Authentic?

I have to say that the color of the Jawa's cape looks a bit off to me. It could be the way the light is bouncing off of it but if you have a Ben Kenobi with cape then put that next to it to see if it's the same color (as it shouldn't be). This color looks closer to an Australian one but that color a...

Re: Genuine or fake VC Jawas...

I see where you're coming from but maybe the seller is worried that someone might send a fake one off to UKG and then send that one back to them. These higher value figures like this and also some weapons are a little worrying to sell through something like eBay as there are plenty of people who try...
