Agreed. I did a similar post on FB regarding the incorrect instructions. The real ones are one of the dearest parts.

Re: Top Toys Vader seal

Top Toys moc's are well known for having poor seals on the bubbles. Hence why so many were stapled (by factory or shop its unknown). I've own a few where the bubble came away from the cardback leaving little to no damage on the card. Looking at the pics in this auction my moneys on it been a reseal ...

It's a Mark Poon custom sadly worth less then the official vintage style ones released by Hasbro a few years back.

Re: Sears Vacume Packed R2D2 MOC

Nick from Jabbas sold his gem of a split ‘bubble’ a few months back for a fraction of the price. Absolute stunner with a figure popped back into the shrink wrap.

You’ll do well to find anyone looking to part with one, or even a card back as they’re pretty rare.

Re: Any glasslite experts ?

The finish of the plastic is the key, either like the example on the left "shiny oily finish" on the middle one which has a "silverish shine" to it.

Re: Your collecting spending in 2018

Haha, I've do the same thing by keeping a spreadsheet of all my buys/sales. Last year I was down by 501.6% on my spends thanks to selling off the last of my MOC's, but overall 2018 was quiet on the new purchases front.

Re: Luke Stormtrooper Black Blaster?

If you struggle to capture the true colour of the blaster, photograph it next to a true black accessory like an AT-AT driver rifle
