Re: When is a beater not a beater?
Beaters are always going to be cheap which makes them great for beginner collectors, especially now. I have what I would consider to be a beat up ESB darth Vader MOC. It's borderline though. Fully sealed but the card just looks like it hasn't been stored well. Some might consider it a beater, some a...

Great to read your little story and to hear you've got back into collecting. There's nothing like digging through a collection when you're not exactly sure what you've got

He was a good fella. I didn't know James personally but he was one of those chaps who would come up and say hello at events. I remember him from Farthest From. One of the lads

Re: How Do You Rank The SW Movies Now?
The film that means the most to me is ANH and then ROTJ. Even though everybody knows ESB is the best by far it wasn't a thing when I was really young. Never watched it until the late 80s Other than that I can't list them because I like or dislike different parts, not entire films. TPM for me has th...

Re: Rewatched rise of skywalker
I love Solo. Can't say the same for the sequels. Solo just seems like a decent Star Wars movie with no stupid characters or sub plots

Well done. I've got a football 86 one I want to complete. Nothing brings back childhood memories quite like stickers

My gran made me a new bib for the Ugnaught. It was just as good as the original. She was s seamstress for the police at one point though.

Re: Deoid factory droids - figures or not?
Good question. Certainly not part of what is considered to be the full run of figures as far as I'm aware. The figures are probably so scarce they might even be considered less as 'figures' than even the Wampa or Taun Taun. As you mentioned they are perhaps more like the Trash monster. More of an od...

Re: It's reseal time again!
Nice job. I used to be into restoring cards and resealing. At one point I printed repair sections to cover torn bubble sections. Getting the scale right was a bugger. Still have a few of them.

Re: Tie Fighter battery disaster
Try the simplest way first. Some lemon juice or one of the other suggested liquids on the contacts. If that doesn't work then maybe take it apart
