Re: Secret Santa 2018 The Big Reveal

Not necessarily late as I posted a thank you on the FB forum. Just in case my SS didn't see it. I'm delighted with a super clean Snowspeeder. The only die cast I had as a kid too, so a perfect hit. Plus some cool extras. https://scontent-lht6-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-0/q83/p180x540/49184620_51044029281...

Super job. I love packaging boxes. Be worth quite a bit once you get the matching baggies. All from a little effort.

Re: Biggest stitch up down the years

I bought a VC jawa a good few years ago for around £5 and realised it was a repro cape and gun straight away. It displayed well but didn't really want to keep it in my collection. It looked pretty like an original so I just sold it to an unwitting upstart for £120 a few weeks later. I had a bloody ...

Re: Reseals or open/lifted bubble mocs

I have a POTF Romba. Basically looks like a nice moc on display but has a slit bubble and figure will come out. Coin is still sealed.

Can help with a few figures also. I'll see if I can sort a few pics out for you.

Or add me on messenger. Search for Androcles Brun.

Re: How does collecting compare to a year ago?

Some good folk on Facebook but more than likely the same good folk from here only with a non username.

The ease of posting and selling an item is probably a big attraction. The more selling, the more people will follow.

Re: What baffled you most about the toys as a kid?

Why did scalextric need so many expensive big fuck off batteries to run and to have them run out in no time at all.

If I remember correctly my scalextric needed 8 of the big fat batteries.

Re: Destruction of ships/vehicles is getting too much.

I see no problem in breaking up a beater or discoloured ships and taking off parts that may be perfect to complete a better condition ship. Is no different to collectors painting and making customs from knackered figures which is widely accepted. Most ships are incredibly common like the figures so ...
