Re: Latest Acquisitions

That was a great purchase Scott, the 15" IG is one awesome bit of vintage SW and easily one of my top 5 items in my collection. Everyting about it is great, the box art, the figure...great stuff. The headset is another great piece and it's cool to see these old school grails get some limelight ...

With the rare exception, you literally cannot give them away.

Re: flyer advert

I'd be interested in buying it all as a job lot but that means it will not go for as much if you sold individually.

Can you tell me if thet mail away figure stand box has an address label on it? Have you got a pic?

Cheers

Re: The next FF.

My honest feeling about this Dave is to give it a break if you're feeling no love for it ATM, maybe leave the summer one and see how you feel bringing it back for winter - people will miss it and it'll drum up more anticipation for the winter FF. Maybe that will re-ignite your passion for it. Collec...

Re: flyer advert

It's actually not that rare, and can be found in a lot of the Micro Collection boxes and other boxed items that were late on in the ESB releases.

£20-30 on a good day.

Re: The next FF.

Is there any reason to think this might have been the last one? This weekend was always going to be low on numbers, coming so soon after Echo Live and Celebration. But FF is the best vintage-only show in the UK, I'm sure that the next one will be busier. The event would be sorely missed if it was t...

Re: The next FF.

I really enjoyed this one and had a great day, and to be honest I think the new venue is better in terms of space and facilities. Yes, the muber of visitors were down and there wasn't as many dealers BUT it was like a return to older FF's where the middle floor was empty and loads of space to move a...

Re: Palitoy Han Hoth 30A Reseal

It was at Echo Live last year - the autumn one. Gary Maguire had it on his table along with a couple of others.

His had a mark on the card in a similar spot to yours and was minus the footer but the bubble was pretty clear. Like I say, it was slightly worse (only slightly) than yours.

Re: Palitoy Han Hoth 30A Reseal

I don't think you're far off at £75 for it but maybe a tiny bit more, last one I know sold for £70 and it was slightly worse than this and punched, so maybe £85-90 - sub £100 for sure as he's one of the easier ones to get.

Re: Toppers and stationary

Topper are normally £1-£2 each. The Memo set, does it have the case top? And I take it there's no sharpener or eraser - and one of the pencils is missing. One of the crayons is used too. I'd say £15-20 for it if it has it's top though. Normally, mint complete these are about £45-55. There's 3 differ...

Not one, but two positive collecting stories!

I just want to take this opportunity to thank a group of collectors who make me incredibly proud to know them. Some of you might know that I designed the mini Death Star that a few of the guys here took out to Chicago as swag, and it went down a storm. At the time they asked me how much I wanted for...

Re: Palitoy Tauntaun Box

The 1st issue TT with printed Palitoy logo is a tough one to find. The stickered ones are more common and unitl recently I never even knew the printed logo version existed.
