Re: Latest Acquisitions

The Vintage Gods were smiling on you that day sir - well done :)

It's a marathon this game, not a sprint.

Re: VECTIS AUCTION - Thursday 26th September

I think I can speak for many here and on the 'collecting circuit' when I say it's great to hear you're not going anywhere :)

Best of luck Steve, 1st beer on me next time I see you.

Re: Vintage-1977 Star Wars Math Set/ Helix (Excellent Condition)

Doh, just seen this post! :D Replied to the other one... Okay, this looks to be £125-150. But you might find it'll take a while to find the right buyer - the re-issues have hurt the values of the maths set imparticular. But there are buyers still looking for GOOD vintage examples. The stuff that fet...

Re: star wars helix math set 1977

Is yours complete though? That will determine the value. Some Helix stuff is now realising MEGA money but some items are still available at realistic prices. The Maths Set needs to be 100% complete with its blue plastic tray to make a decent price - £125-150 MINT. The price drops rapidly if it's mis...

Re: Latest Acquisitions

Absolutely over the moon with this re-seal 20 Back R5, a really cracking example with a cut at the back to remove the figure so once cased up it looks like a MOC. Complete with original footer. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Ian (Palifan) for the deal on this, he has been instrumental in...

Re: Box, card back and playset valuation

£30 on the Star Destroyer box - looks in good order

£20 on the Rebel Transport - common as dirt

£40 on the DV Tie fighter - common but the inserts are a massive plus!

Re: THE VINTAGE REBELLION : Episode 63 LAUNCHED

Weren't they the Afro-American airmen in WW2? Lucas made a film about them- Redtails. Correct mate, it was also one of the WORST films I've ever seen - I thought Pearl Harbour was bad but Red Tails is shockingly poor. Half way through the cast now lads, nice to hear Jasons dulcit tones again but al...

Re: Box, card back and playset valuation

Jawa playset - the pod alone sells for about £25, so I'd say £30 with the base.

Snowspeeder box, looks about a C6 to me so £20

Not sure on the cardback but I do know the DSD is pretty HTF, sure one of the other chaps will chime in on that.

Re: Footers...

Interesting to note there could have been a change from square to rounded on the Palitoys given those 2 FX7s.

I also never knew footers were still being added to Jedi MOCs as I thought they'd been dropped from production by then.

Footers...

I don't think this is an area of vintage collecting that garners much attention but with the popularity or re-seals rising, and trying to put a run together myself I have found obtaining and identifying the footers something of a mystery on some figures. For instance, are there any major differences...

They're from the S.R.L. Space Heores line in the 70's. Weird little action figures, bit like Action Jacks (from Matchbox) and found in newsagents etc...

Well a loose complete one is normally £40 alone so you got a bargain IMO :)
