Happens to me pretty often, to the point where I've almost don't bother, just stick the base bid in.

Re: strangely hard to find pieces

Try and find a mint loose Han Bespin with no hair rub - it drove me mad. It was the last figure I needed for my basic loose run and proved to be the most troublesome - yes an easy figure to find but there was always a rub on the fringe...always. And try finding a MINT boxed Palitoy Turret & Prob...

Re: vintage production error luke in stormtrooper

That's just how the plastic was forced.

Some short pours can be worth money if they're interesting enough and obviously so but in the case I doubt it unless you get someone with a Luke Stormtrooper focus with more money than sense.

I think so too. If that were a 'short pour' it wouldn't look clipped like that. Looks like it was done with pliers or something similar.

Re: I just did something I've never done before...

That really is the pits when that happens, gutted for you mate :(

Happened to me more than once on my loose display, you'd only have to touch the cabinet and the DSD would send 50% of the others into freefall. Still nowhere near as bad as having MOC's take a fall :(

Re: Palitoy Tauntaun Box

As for who was saying the stickered one was the later release, that would be no-one overtly ! However, I must admit I interpreted TK-7785's post (the second one of the thread) as implying that was the case... but that may well simply be me getting the wrong end of the stick. No worries :) It's...

Re: Palitoy Tauntaun Box

I'm confused (easily done) but am I missing another post on here?   Who's saying the stickered one is the later release? I honestly have no idea which one came first BUT logically, from someone who has some experience in print and toy manufacture, it would take more effort to print d...

Re: Palitoy Tauntaun Box

We seem to have two differing opinions in this thread regarding which version was released first. Does anyone know definitively whether the stickered or the printed version came out first? I'd love to know the answer! Yes. Would be interesting to know for sure one way or the other. Stickered versio...

Re: Latest Acquisitions

That was a great purchase Scott, the 15" IG is one awesome bit of vintage SW and easily one of my top 5 items in my collection. Everyting about it is great, the box art, the figure...great stuff. The headset is another great piece and it's cool to see these old school grails get some limelight ...

Re: flyer advert

I'd be interested in buying it all as a job lot but that means it will not go for as much if you sold individually.

Can you tell me if thet mail away figure stand box has an address label on it? Have you got a pic?

Cheers

Re: The next FF.

My honest feeling about this Dave is to give it a break if you're feeling no love for it ATM, maybe leave the summer one and see how you feel bringing it back for winter - people will miss it and it'll drum up more anticipation for the winter FF. Maybe that will re-ignite your passion for it. Collec...
