Popped into snoopers in Brighton yesterday, Toy Toni still selling carded figures

Yes me and my wife went to Brighton for the day yesterday, perfect weather for it too! We popped in to snoopers paradise and I got some pics of Toni’s carded figures for sale (attached) I almost jumped at that anakin for £35 but then noticed the bubble broken. Tim’s stall is fantastic though, sadly ...

Re: Antiques roadshow

There was one on the Antiques Roadshow back in 2014, valued at £50,000 back then, is it the same one? StarWars.jpg Yes! That’s the one. The whole show was a re visit to things they’ve valued over the years and they are worth now or where the items are now. The tie fighter helmet had a re valuation ...

Antiques roadshow

Anyone watch it tonight?

Original tie fighter helmet worth £200 grand

And one of the experts was asked what he’s seen go up and down in value over the years? His reply was ‘I’ve seen Star Wars figures sky rocket!!

Re: Seems a bit suspicious don’t you think ?

Irrespective of the issue with the carded figures scandal he does have a lot of genuine stock-particularly Trilogos! If I'm not mistaken Stephane Faucourt recently highlighted a Trilogo cardback that looked like a proof card-but was due to the weak bubble seal-which is apparently common!! Yeah than...

eBay advice

Hi I need some advice please. I sold some beaters in October and forgot about them thinking all went well. I’ve just noticed the buyer has left me negative feedback that just says item never arrived. I’ve never had a message asking where the items were so that I can track them and he hasn’t messaged...

Re: A very old newspaper article I’ve been meaning to post

Does anyone know what it might be worth?

I’m guessing it’s got more value to someone collecting old newspapers rather than Star Wars?

Some old copies on eBay from around 77 but buy it nows at £50

A very old newspaper article I’ve been meaning to post

I thought you may find this interesting. A few years ago a friend of the family was clearing out their loft, under one of the boards was a pile of old newspapers holding the board up and one of the papers was from 1977. They noticed Star Wars and this was given to me as they knew I was a huge fan. I...

Re: If anyone still needs convincing where the bargains are.......

I stopped selling on Facebook after 3 auctions of figures I was selling sold for way less than what I would’ve got on eBay for them.

I was really annoyed about it

Who else remembers taking a bath with these two guys?

I did at the time and I can remember that horrible yellow soap not only smelling like an old ladies hand bag but also having the dryest skin for weeks afterwards!

Thanks
Andrew
