Re: Forum Vehicle of the Year 2019 - Final

The AT-AT is one of the greatest vehicles in the SW range, absolutely no doubt. As a kid though I wanted but never got one so have no fuzzy warm memories of it. I did have the Snowspeeder though and I absolutely loved it (even though that pesky harpoon used to keep falling off) so its going to get m...

AT-AT for me too. Its one of the most iconic vehicles and along with the Falcon a centrepiece SW toy as a kid. :)

Amazing vintage find!

I just wanted to share with you folks something amazing that happened last week to me. :D Last Thursday I got a text from my mate Andy at work:- "My brother is renovating a flat and has found star wars figures in original packaging, photos to follow" Obviously the kind of message we all wa...

Re: Buying in the 80's how we used to buy figures

My first figure was bought while on holiday in St Ives Cornwall,1983. In one of those little seaside toy shops. The carded figs were on a rotating stand and staring at me was Luke Jedi from the soon to be released Jedi film. I don't think I've ever been so excited! It was the early version with blue...

Re: Darth Vader tour photos wanted

I know I've shared this with you already Craig but here is a snapshot of "Darth Vader" from early 1983 or late 1982 when he visited Scotch Corner toy shop in Kilmarnock. A long ago now but my memories are of waiting in a huge queue outside the shop after closing time, finally making it up...

Re: New retroline.......

They look cool, but so do many repro carded figures on ebay. If you decided to display them and a fellow SW fan asks a question about them what are you going to do, pretend they're 12 backs because Disney Hasbro holds the licence currently? No, you're going to say 'they're not originals but reissues...
