Re: Latest Acquisitions

First I was blown away with the DT Luke - totally worth Divorce (he says jokingly... love you honey) THEN that 41bk Palitoy collection from Anthony. Stunning. AND THEN Edd just tosses in baby Jasper. Amazing!! Then I remember nappies and I may be back with the Palitoy collection :) Congrats to all, ...

Re: The future of Vintage Star Wars collecting

OK. I thought Episode 1 was amazing and crappy all at the same time. The same for TFA. I'm not happy at all about the last one (can't even say its name) although I still bought it on Blue-Ray.... I think the market will wane. It did the same around 2005-6 and I bought some amazing pieces at prices t...

Re: Latest Acquisitions

I am pretty happy with these two showing up. They spend 3 months in no-mans land - and by that I mean they were lost. Tracking was useless and they just gone. THEN, they showed up. The seller was fantastic - he always is - and we dealt with it like gentlemen. Its sad that so many times this aspect i...

Re: Argh!!!!! Double Stem bubbles in transit!

Can you buy those sliders from Iain, UKG or others? I never realised they were moveable - I always assumed they were affixed to the acrylic top. I'd like to get a few of them myself to protect my own stuff.

Re: No luck but am I being ripped off?

I can see how he was saying that he was just after a mint one, not necessarily carded. Could be taken either way, I guess. There are very nice Bens out there. If you don't care if its loose, hold off on the premium you'll pay for the cardback and bubble - which you say you're not worried about. You ...

Re: How I lost my parcel

Hang in there mate. I had a similar issue with a parcel I sent to Europe that went missing, but it did eventually show up. Just took ages. It could be just that it has been left on a desk or something similar. Don't hive up just yet. I had another package that was six months late in being delivered ...

Re: SPOILER FREE Reviews/Reaction to TLJ

Yeah, I'm still in two minds about it. Great scenes and some really funny parts - I really liked the humour - but there were some bits I just didn't know about. Some very unexpected turns too.

It definitely entertained and was a big movie. ESB is still my fav tho.
