Re: Fake AFA?
Looks me like one of their early grading labels. They use to slap on an overall grade, without the subs on their labels. Although, I have seen fake AFA items out there.

Good Deal On This.
These lightboxes look pretty cool. Already down to £69.99, but if you add the code "MERCH40" in the checkout, you can scoop it up for £41.99. Some other nice bits and pieces in the sale too. https://www.zavvi.com/merch-memorabilia/hot-toys-star-wars-logo-lightbox-uk-exclusive/12732844.html

Re: 50 year anniversary figures
Easy pass for me. Hasbro really needs to bring us some exciting things for the 50th anniversary. Some new retro Kenner style playsets and figures would-be killer! Wampa cave, A-Wing pilot, imperial Endor base.

Why not just buy yourself a retro collection Leia and leave the original sealed up inside the baggie?

Re: I love you just the way you are ...
I've also purchased the Kenobi robes. I think it''ll be a nice way to display Obi-Wan in the land speeder, sitting next to Luke. Just ordered one 😁👍 I always had trouble getting old Ben to sit inside the land speeder with his vinyl cap - this'll be a nice alternative. I'm quite looking forward to r...

Re: Why are we all tarnished so....
Just because I like to admire my AFA graded collection in the morning with some boiled dodo eggs, washed down with the tears of a unicorn does not make me an elitist! It's strange to me what is acceptable in other collecting circles. The WWF Hasbro collectors regularly tear open mocs in a ritu...

I watched this during my shift last night, and have to agree with him - live and and let live, ffs. Certainly no need for echo base to act the way they have/did. And this is why I'm no member of any FB groups.
