Re: Loose collecting

I have a loose run of all 96 on display which I like as it represents what most people would have realistically collected as kids if we’d been lucky enough to follow Kenner’s “collect all....” slogans. It also makes a nice conversation piece for non collectors when they visit. I have around 50 or 60...

Re: Latest Acquisitions

I’ve been helping my good friend build a little side extension to his house. I was thrilled to just have something to do, it got me out of the house and kept me from going mad on my own. A couple of weeks ago I was completely surprised to get a package in the mail with a thank you present from him F...

Re: My California Trip - Rancho Obi-Wan and Endor!

What a fantastic trip and thanks for telling the story.
Were those Endor spots easy enough to find or were you wandering around for hours trying to match up random trees?

Re: Latest Acquisitions

I’ve been wanting to put together a run of “old school rarities” for a little while now as these were the pieces that were revered back in the early days and as a young collector, I always thought how amazing it would be to own even one. The main pieces were the Tie Bomber, 12 inch IG-88 and the Luk...

Re: The next FF.

I had another smashing weekend in fordingbridge so thank you Dave for organising another great show. I think the smaller turnout was mostly down to it bring on a Saturday but being so close to echo probably had a small part to play. I quite liked the old school feel to it! It would be a huge blow to...

I was hoping someone else might chip in as I didn’t want to be the micro guy  But we can’t have one of these go without a post so here’s my Death Star Compactor set. Re: Amazing vintage find!

What a wonderful story, we all dream of the day we get that phone call!

I most of those cardbacks can be sorted out with a few weeks under some heavy books and then they’ll pop in some of Christians cases

Congratulations

Re: Episode 9...your personal feelings

My main issue with the sequels is I find the characters and the story uninteresting. It’s hard to get hyped on the next film when the characters don’t develop and the story doesn’t seem to go anywhere. Attack of the Clones was mentioned earlier which I also think is a pile of wank but it does progre...
