The At-At driver weapon also came as part of some mail always so there’s probably more of them about.
Shame they didn’t do the same with pop up R2 lightsabers

Re: Has the pandemic changed your attitude to your collecting?
I had an interesting conversation with a neighbour at the weekend, he restores classic cars and noted the prices have shot up over the pandemic. My wife is interested in vintage designer handbags (yes, it’s a thing!) and she said the prices have also gone up so we’re not alone in lamenting the state...

That’s mental, is it really that legendary? I’ve never heard of it. Can you imagine the price if it was goldeneye!

Re: Retro Gaming For Sale
Out of interest Colin what were these?
Carl, your offer is very generous but I’m fully stacked on GameCube controllers although the third party style brings back great memories of tormenting my brother as player 2!

Re: Your evolution of gaming
Great idea for a thread, My dad had some weird desktop thing in the early 80’s with rubber keys (not a speccy) and a game called Zak Banic. I begged them for a NES but wasn’t allowed and got an Amstrad 464 instead so I could learn to code. All I learnt was: 10 - print “my brother is gay” 20 - goto 1...

Re: Why are we all tarnished so....
If we want to raise the reputation for SW collectors, we need to stop being so eletist in our attitude when we speak to novices - because admit it or not, like it or not - WE ARE ELETIST. I’m sorry but I completely disagree with your statement. ALL hobbies have elitists, that’s just human nature bu...

Re: Found a Boba Fett in my collection with removable helmet vintage
Looks like a leia boushh head that’s been swapped out. The original head has probably had a dremel taken to it to hollow it out and form the helmet.
It won’t have any real value but it looks pretty cool.

Re: Why are we all tarnished so....
Labelling an entire community as twats is a very bigoted attitude and a sign of immaturity in my opinion. Edd is dead right with his statement here and the recent retroblasting thread regarding repros.

Re: How do people display there loose in open space?
I built this display but it was very straightforward. If you have a series of shelves anyway it would be easy to adapt this style with the glass door and some infills either end. It does a decent job of keeping dust out but isn’t 100% sealed I ordered the glass online and the hinges from eBay. Make ...

Re: Is this worth anything?
It’s the sort of thing that will be impossible to price because it really is unique so if you were going to sell it I would expect abs auction would be the way to go. Provenance will mean everything though so if you don’t have any paperwork for the actual item do you have anything from your husbands...
