Re: End of 2019 Collecting Review and 2020 goals

I only bought one piece of vintage in 2019 and that was a thank you gift for someone else. Reading through everyone's collecting goals for 2020 and to be honest I'm thinking about boxing everything up and putting it up in the loft. I think the fire has gone out for me, not a fan of people who annou...

Re: How Do You Rank The SW Movies Now?

Best to worst for me ... 1. Star Wars 2. Empire 3. Jedi (Massive gap) 4. Rise of Skywalker 5. Rogue One - for all the OT throw backs (Another gap) 6. Force Awakens - for the first half n hour which was great 7. Solo - like Mandalorian, not bad , just very ... sterile. 8. The making of the phantom m...

" I know it might be popular in some quarters, but personally I think Dr Who is shit. I don't remember ever even mentioning Dr Who to my brother in our adult lives, and yet that didn't stop him spending £14.95 on this monstrosity! I could have had a blu-ray of something good for that, but no. Instea...

Re: Waffle pattern on Vintage SW cardbacks

Also these figures were stored in large bulk bins in the factory before being sealed and there can always be some wear, where they came into contact with each other before sealing , if you look at some of the old factory photos and film on line you can see how they were stored, just toys back then o...

Re: Fake Irish 3 Pack Video

It was an interesting watch. Unfortunately, I can‘t help but conclude that Michael Havens did this to garner attention. Whatever the reasons, the wilful destruction of such an item can not be condoned when it is not fake and has been merely tampered with. Better to swap the Fett for the correct 3 p...

Re: Latest Acquisitions

Love these SW cards boxes and I remember them well growing up and using my 10p pocket money to pick up 2 packets each week. Thankfully swaps for these were easy to come by in the playground so I managed to complete the blue series and almost all of the red series which I still own. I can still smel...

Re: Vintage Star Wars collecting where are we at ?

I think most of the reply's here cover what I was going to say, it was my childhood,, apart from action man , micronauts and bmx'ing, luckily I still have my childhood collection, (played with condition) and didn't sell it off in the early 90's like my action man collection which I soooo regret now ...

Re: Hasbro's New Tatooine Skiff

That looks so good and as one is behind the other you don't notice the size difference , I tried to hang speeder bikes in a cabinet on an endore scene when I was a lot younger, like a see saw  what a nightmare hats of to you , I can just hear the sound track and see the sand dunes speeding by ...
