Re: !!SPOILERS!! The Mandalorian Spoilers Allowed Discussion Thread

HOLY SH*T!!!! :o  8) Well, that completely finished me off. I was a blubbering mess for that final act. The Luke we should have had in the ST. Just a brilliant season all round. That post credit sequence just topped it off. Glad it wasn't just me! I think time stood still. My heart was...

Re: A nerds wet dream!!!

Exciting times :D . Some great stuff to look forward to, especially Ahsoka, Rogue Squadron, Acolyte and Obi-Wan (Hayden returns!) Tbh I can take or leave the Bad Batch and Lando series. Interestingly, no mention of Rian Johnson's trilogy and sequel trilogy tie-ins. Looks like they've seen sense. On ...

Re: Star Wars, Alien & Jaws UK TV Premieres (Betamax Captures)

I would be very interested in watching as I watched the premiers of Star Wars and Alien! You will need to pick a website that won't copyright strike you - So someone like Vimeo probably more than the tube. If you want just a download hub, maybe Mega? Most streamers would compress your stuff anyway....

Star Wars, Alien & Jaws UK TV Premieres (Betamax Captures)

I've picked up a few job lots of Betamax tapes over the last year and finally getting around to digitizing them. If anybody is interested in a nostalgia rush, let me know and I'll stick them online for download. The pick of the bunch so far...... Star Wars UK TV Premiere - no adverts - Oct '82 (Cent...

Re: RIP Dave Prowse

Petition to get a David Prowse statue on the vacant Colston plinth, on Bristol city centre.

Rachel Prowse's approval......

Probably won't get anywhere, but would be a lovely gesture.

Re: RIP Dave Prowse

RIP Dave. The big guy will be sadly missed.
As a fellow Bristolian, this one cuts just that little bit deeper.

Can't believe in the last five years we've lost Carrie, Kenny, Peter and now Dave.
Such a shame that the rift with Lucasfilm was never resolved AFAIK.
RIP

Re: !!SPOILERS!! The Mandalorian Spoilers Allowed Discussion Thread

Another great episode. This series is developing into a really enjoyable addition to the SW universe. The overarching story is starting to take shape. Even the fish guy (Mythrol??) was tolerable in this one. There's a rumour going around, that the bodies in the clone vats are Snoke(s). I've got a ho...

Re: !!SPOILERS!! The Mandalorian Spoilers Allowed Discussion Thread

Thanks for the update mate. Sounds good. Wish they would do something with Luke though make 7,8,9 none canon and make Luke who he really is. Give it go. It's not perfect, but its made by people (Favreau/Filoni) who appear to have an understanding of what makes SW great. Some of the OT and Clone War...

Re: !!SPOILERS!! The Mandalorian Spoilers Allowed Discussion Thread

Still need to watch it but just haven't got the motivation. I think a lot of fans feel like that. We've been blasted with so much average new content over the last 5 years, but The Mandalorian is refreshingly brilliant IMO and I can't wait for the next episode. Yer very true, will never watch 7,8 a...

Re: 12" Boba Fetts, WTF Custom.

Noticed these the other day and couldn't quite believe what I was looking at  It takes a special 'talent' to take a piece of vintage SW and actually devalue it with your artistic 'improvements' What a clown. Prime candidates for a restoration project (give them a brake fluid bath, to r...

Re: !!SPOILERS!! The Mandalorian Spoilers Allowed Discussion Thread

Agreed. Great start to the season. Hard to believe this is a TV series. Very cinematic. My heart sank when they mentioned going to Tatooine (again!). But apart from a few minor niggles, it turned into a very enjoyable episode overall. Loved the R5, Krayt Dragon and Anakins Podracer cameos and..........
