Re: Woolworths Special Buy 8 Star Wars Figures for 99p Pack Research Findings

This bag of 17 Action Force figures has been acquired from a former Palitoy Employees daughter amongst other items. Her mother bought the bag complete with figures which is tied at the top with cloth from the staff shop in Baker Street. 20181215_172722.jpg 20181215_172049.jpg 20181215_171341.jpg The...

Re: Woolworths Special Buy 99p 8 packs

Jamie, is it possible to get a clearer image of the box of pack's please?

As I have highlighted the pack's are hard to see what figure mix is on which pack.

Re: Woolworths Special Buy 99p 8 packs

Ok Ben, while you search eBay for Woolworth receipts and follow the line that Jeff purchased, or produced one, and sealed it in a single multipack, I will reach out to Kevin and see if we can have a clearer look at the graded item. Lawrence (Laurence) , why was Kevin’s graded multipacks omitted fro...

Re: Woolworths Special Buy 99p 8 packs

Interesting photo. Taken June 2001....Jeff Glanville's loft find. I have known of this photo's existence for some time and this is the first opportunity I have had to see the evidence for myself. This is actually a rather impressive image. A few questions come to mind though. Was this image taken b...

Re: Should grading companies archive/case reproductions?

For me this is a bad bad idea and from me this is a resounding no. Now going slightly off topic as this thread is regarding the grading of reproductions which they clearly label as such, but what happens when items such as Toy Toni's that were previously graded as authentic turn out not to be. The q...

Re: Palitoy landfill

As I said before, I am in no doubt that the practice of dumping toy's into pits as such was common practice back in the days before the destruction of the Ozone Layer was discovered. It was common practice with commercial and domestic waste throughout the UK until the The Kyoto Protocol entered into...

Re: Palitoy landfill

Ok, Ok, seeing as my name keeps being mentioned and this topic has some new invigorated energy I will admit that this comment was actually a red herring back at the time. You lot are off your tits! It must take someone deluded to pursue the "Farmers Field Myth" :D . Palitoy used two ...

Re: Show of your truly rare items

Again, this isn't truly expensive but it's a hard piece to find. In keeping with your '3PO theme  Screenshot_20180813-001320.png Can you tell us more about this, is it one of the Spanish comic figure prototypes? Pulsar that 3po is great what’s the story behind it ? Prototype ? I think Laurenc...

WTB Palitoy ESB 45AD Darth Vader Cardback

Looking for a Palitoy ESB 45AD Darth Vader Cardback.

Condition isn't of great importance, obviously the nicer the better but would be happy with nameplate cut etc.

Thanks.

I don't suppose you have a Palitoy ESB Vader Bounty Hunter Offer card back at all?
