Re: Metal ANH Han Solo Blaster

I’ve been working on the blaster this week. It’s had a few passes of paint and stain. I stained the grips with dark woodstain, then rubbed them with a scourer to reduce the shine, then scratched them up a bit. Sprayed the scope mount and bull barrel with matt black hobby paint and the scope with sat...

Raiders bits!

I picked up a couple of Raiders replicas recently. Obviously not my work, just purchased but I thought I’d share. I had a hat I kind of cobbled together but it wasn’t right. This one is much better in terms of it’s dimensions and accuracy. You can spend hundreds on a perfect beaver felt one but for ...

Metal ANH Han Solo Blaster

I bought a new all metal accurate Han Solo blaster, an upgrade from my resin one and it’s arrived..! It’s absolutely gorgeous, I’m well chuffed. The machined parts are stunning. The gun itself is a Denix Mauser replica but it’s been machined to make it accurate. Everything looks right, the attention...

Re: Sussex comic con

No I haven't been to that one. Not too far for me so might be worth a look. I've been to the Brighton one a few years back which was really good, loads of cool stuff to see and tons of good stalls with all sorts. I met Kenny Baker and Carl Weathers. Even had a BTTF Delorean there  :D P1060640...

Re: Resin ANH Han Solo blaster

So... after building my resin Han Solo blaster (some years ago now) I have always had a hankering for a better one, a metal one. It’s been a long time coming but I’ve finally pulled the trigger on an accurate all metal one from War Machine paintball. They do various ones with different finishes for ...

Re: Removing mould inside bubble?

The bubble prob has a tiny hole or crack in it. You get mould from moisture and a low temperature. If a bubbles completely sealed moisture shouldn’t be able to get in there. A warm temperature may help to dry it out inside, don’t know if the white mould will completely disappear though.

Re: Do you think we are currently in a bubble?

Anyway, when I first started up I knew there would be "sticking point" figures from a price perspective, ones that it would take me longer to acquire (Mostly some of the last 17, Luke Stormtrooper, Pop-up R2D2, Yak, Amanaman etc.). Which was fine, I was fully prepared to enter this as a m...

Nice little birthday Luke Wow, a real beaut there @Grant_C I miss my carded collection and seeing a card like that does twinge a small amount of regret but I had to do what I needed at the time. Still not got the bug back. 😒 Great to see you posting again mate, hope all’s well. I think I’ve got a c...
