Re: Missing out/forgetting shit

Read this yesterday and meant to reply then, but forgot... (I'm only half joking). Re: What's the one vintage SW item you wished you had as a kid but never got?

But there's one that's head and shoulders above them - the Palitoy Death Star. As a kid I knew someone who had one and, for something that was ma...

Very late to the party on this one, but here's a few photos of one I have. It's an opened Kenner example with the correct text on the back.

X-Wing with Palitoy bubble. Again the ships in great condition and the photos show up scratches which are barely visible!

Re: 43 year s late, I spot a joke in ANH.

 I find it almost impossible to watch the OT subjectively - I always see them through the eyes of a kid. We had Star Wars taped from the ITV premiere and watched it so many times. One of the things we did was edit out the ad breaks as it was being broadcast, and on at least one occasion there's...

Re: I can't delete my old pm

Just tried it myself and I get exactly the same message. Went to my inbox. Found a PM to delete and clicked the checkbox at the right; Went to the bottom of the page and selected 'Delete marked', then pressed 'Go'. The result was the message "Information: The submitted form was invalid. Try submitti...

Re: Could the sequels be remade?

Whilst Disney clearly love a remake at the moment, I can't see them wiping the Sequel trilogy in order to create something different. It'd be an admission that the films aren't good enough, it would be a slap in the face for those involved in creating the films (which admittedly, in creating live-ac...

Re: SPOILERS THREAD-The Rise of Skywalker-SPOILERS THREAD

Just back from my first viewing today. I somehow managed to avoid almost all spoilers (just heard about the same-sex kiss, which I was convinced was going to be Poe & Finn. I almost pissed myself laughing when I saw what some people were getting so worked up about), so I've also only read through th...

What amazes me is how proud he looks. You've spray-painted it silver, not painted the Sistine Chapel.
