Re: THE VINTAGE REBELLION : Episode 55 LAUNCHED

Another fantastic episode lads, definitely helped break up my 12 hour drive home. Thanks for the mention although the article about the Small wing DV Tie Die Cast was written by Spoons not me. There is a new article about Die Cast variants that you can check out in the same section as the Small Wing...

Re: Die cast reference site

Happy it’s finally up for everyone to check out. Hopefully more variants surface from other collectors checking their Die Cast collections.

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 38, 2018, Part 2/2

Sorry didn’t realise it was the 3 3/4 inch scale version and that the Die Cast had been on a previous week. Nice collection and thanks for sharing, but this thread are not for the diecast. You are welcome to share the picture in the cloud car diecast thread on this link http://www.starwarsforum.co.u...

Re: FREE Giveaway time! GW Acrylic - 10 years on SWF.uk

What would I do without GW Acrylic!
As a poor old Die Cast collector I’d have to let these sit to gather dust on my shelves. So grateful you cater for the Die Cast line and how exceptional your product is.
Kind Regards

Justin

Re: Any Micro collections experts in the house?

It’s a very clean V2 Die Cast Tie Fighter. Nothing stands out as prototype to me but spoons could be correct in saying it could be a quality test example. From the pictures I’d say it’s more likely just a nice example of the Version 2 Tie unfortunately as there is no paint scratch lines or pen marki...

Re: Latest Acquisitions

Australian Star Wars fast food collectables are sometimes overlooked and hard to find. My latest purchase is an upgrade on a glass I already had but thought I’d share it. Australian Pizza Hut Star Wars Luke/Leia glass, 1 of 4 in the set. It’s based on the more common Burger King Coke glasses but sho...

From the 1980 Kenner Toy Fair Catalog to the 1981 Catalog they had stopped advertising the larger (boxed) ships including the Tie Bomber. Only the carded Die Cast ships/vehicle...

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 12, 2018, Part 2/2

Picked up a lot of catalogs and card backs. Didn’t pick it up when I bought the lot but the 8D8 had been sold at a department store that my grandmother worked at around the time. John Martin’s had a few Department stores around the Adelaide (South Australia) area and are famous for starting the Chri...
Some really great stuff on this thread! :D I'm a little late to the party, but here's my loose snowspeeder I think so too, the Die Cast line is a very unappreciated SW toy line. Your Snowspeeder looks mint and I must say your photography skills are awesome. Great photo!

Great snowspeeder collection you have :D I did not know there were a Hong Kong and a Macau snowspeeder, very cool 8)
Cheers, these are sometimes hard to spot but hopefully I’ll have some good quality pictures and descriptions to add on all the Die Cast ships. Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 9, 2018, Part 2/2

Think I’ve missed the transport on this one but I’ll still add some. Snowspeeder is one of my favorite ships in the line and have fond memories of this toy as a kid, always in my pocket!! Added a picture of a early mock up of the Snowspeeder that has different artwork from the production examples. A...
