Re: ** In need of a few 1978 MOC valuations please 😀
Is there a section that has rough up to date prices collated from various auction sites that can be used as price guides? You may like to check out www.starwarstracker.com. It essentially does exactly what you asked but is available in an app for your phone or desktop PC. It is a paid service, but ...

Re: Prices on loose figures
I put this question out to my subscribers, and also a FB discussion this week. Overwhelmingly people have responded to say the market has shot up everywhere. And not just vintage star wars - other collectible domains too. So it seems that lock-down has been a bit of a catalyst for people to pick up ...

Re: Value of graded items in comparison to grades?
I had a similar discussion recently about this recently. In general, it's quite variable, with various elements to a pecking order that effects prices: * Overall price is determined by popularity of figure - this basically follows the market for loose figures. Eg, AFA80 Luke Farmboy will always be m...

Re: Prices on loose figures
I've noticed in general prices seem to have crept up the last few lockdown months. If others are like me, then it's actually been a good few months to save money by virtue of not really being able to spend like previous (no trips to pubs, no dinners out, no movies, not spending £10 a day for lunch/c...

Re: MOC Rarity
The next version of Star Wars Tracker (www.starwarstracker.com) is going to be including functionality to have a go at answering these questions. Since I now have 5+ years of good quality data, it's possible to make connections and rank all the sales against each other. Not only prices being paid, b...

Re: Kim Simmons Volume 2 ESB 80-82
I believe the main issue with accepting that repro company donation was soley because of the pledge level they bought. It was the executive producer level which meant they would have their repro company logo prominently displayed on the back cover. This would of course buy them good promotion of the...

Re: The Vintage Rebellion Episode 66 Launched
Simply fascinating interview this episode. Being an Aussie myself this filled in a lot of *gaps* in my knowledge of how things were working behind the scenes back in the day. I had heard legends of these show bags with carded figures but they stopped doing them a year or two before I would have been...

Re: Loose collecting
I started to go down the route of "variant" collecting, but when on display I really couldn't see the point of having multiple figures where the C.O.O is different. I can't *see* that difference on display, so I decided to put the brakes on it. As others have said, if it's a visual differe...

It doesn't strike me as a particularly rare MOC to get. Perhaps it's just a dry patch, or sales are just passing you by somehow.

Re: New retroline.......
Good luck telling them from vintage originals in bulk lots on eBay (once people open them and play with them - that still happens right?!?). I can forsee a lot of after sale "back and forth" issues to sort out misunderstandings and just plain old misleading listings. Really wish this retro...
