Re: Latest Acquisitions

I've not had much in the way of toy related acquisitions lately, but a couple of new autographs from our man Lando and Mr Fortuna. Also, a bit of a vintage prop related result at the local car boot the other weekend, a 70s Tupperware tub and lid. You might think that a strange one but the lids from...

Re: Latest Acquisitions

Amazing boot fair find and Carl, nice Hoth Rebel 8) Not bought much at all recently, but won this at the recent Astons auction after forgetting I'd bid on it. Was advertised as having a bubble lift at the bottom and some biro marks. Arrived this morning and I was very pleased to realise it was penc...

Re: Paypal and foreign currency

I do admit it is complex situation, sorry to lumber anyone with reading through it. Just wanted to see if anyone has had a similar situation. The reason I have dollars in my account is because I sell photos on several stock libraries, and as they are all based in the US, I selected to be paid in US ...

Paypal and foreign currency

Just wanted to know thoughts on this, following on from my Canadian Madine post in latest acquisitions. So I had $149 in my Paypal account (I'm UK based), and the Madine was for sale on Facebook from a Canadian based seller. The seller advertised that it was for sale in American dollars, and to pay ...

Re: Latest Acquisitions

Beautiful condition Canadian Madine to add to my Little Canada run. Popped up on Facebook about 3 months ago, but still hammered from a big Vectis purchase, and was off to America & Canada for holiday, so just saved it for later. I recently got some dollars in my Paypal account so asked if still...

Re: Latest Acquisitions

Well done on the Palitoy Powerdroid. If you found it hard to find then it must have been. Price you paid seems in line with previous sales, so the R5 was a nice little bonus.

I was really chuffed to receive this yesterday, a Canadian R2 32bk MOC. A great addition to my mini R2 focus (which is slowly growing, lol)...

Re: Latest Acquisitions

Despite what certain Facebook groups would have you believe, Ebay still has plenty of good honest vintage, bargains to be had and decent sellers. Added two lovely boxes (and mint complete Speeder Bike) to my 'Special Buy' focus, both came in indestructible packaging. Also two Rebel Commandos and tw...

Re: Chewy Vader miscard

Why the fondness of miscards? All I can see is horribly defect ridden product! I'd love to know the story behind their attractiveness.... EDIT: Ahhh Ive just been caught in work posting on here. I now have to explain to a colleague my deviant hobby.... I think we're all looking for unique MOCS. One...

Chewy Vader miscard

Anyone else put a bid on this? Up until 5 seconds before the auction ended, the price was £190, and I thought I was in for a proper bit of luck. One had just sold at Vectis for £2k. Shot up to £1076 in the last 5 seconds. Considering the Vectis price, arguably someone still got a bargain  https...
