Re: What do you do when a bubble is damaged in transit?
Agree, when selling something I'm not sure about I always ask myself if I'd buy it for the same price. If I wouldn't pay the price the buyer is offering me, I'm happy to sell.

Re: Rocket Firing Boba Fett
Of course there is no justification, but if it sells even at 50% it's set a new record. If it doesn't sell the owner is shielded from any negativity by ZT's shiny ego and back into the collection it goes.

Re: Rocket Firing Boba Fett
Why does someone need to go through a broker for this type of item? I don't get this either. It's 2018, sell it yourself. I can kind of understand why people pay a premium for buying from people like Tom Derby, who have incredible knowledge which adds credibility to pieces when they authenticate th...

Re: Rocket Firing Boba Fett
Following this on the 12 Back group, sounds like a number of people think $185K is a reasonable amount for this one in this condition. And to think you could of bought one for a tenth of the price 10 years ago. That’s one heck of a rate of interest return. One day we might all be sayin*reme...

Playing on people's fear a little I think. Definitely. Keep the population under control using biased or misleading information to create fear and promote a particular cause or POV. That's propaganda isnt it? I got into a disagreement with an admin ( who PM'd me ) on Echo Base before I left just fo...

Re: Becoming desensitised to money due to collecting?
Over the years you just get used to spending more on stuff and as your working career (hopefully) progresses you have a little more disposable income to support it. I remember my first £10, £100, £500 and recently £1k purchases. Each one a milestone, but justified if you are getting a decent deal th...
