Re: Diamond in the rough Luke Farmboy

Excellent find. Congratulations. Also admire your decision to keep the original figure with the sabre.

Re: Various Items for sale

I’d say you’re probably a bit cheap on this, but if you’re happy with the price I’d buy it. Good call. I noticed this on FB, people being honest and stating others are selling too cheaply. Makes the hobby a better place for sure. If a seasoned collector sells something at a price they’re happy with...

Re: Latest Acquisitions

Great stuff and variety as always. The mailing stand is awesome. Still regret passing one up MIB at my first FF for £40 :/

The Tupperware is cool. Learn something new everyday.

But the winner by a country mile is he cardigan. Just how to display it?? So damned cool :)

Re: SWFUK Annual Statistics

Interesting stats and in line with what you see here in terms of activity. I’m trying to, and to a degree succeeding, spend less time on FB and more here. It’s like some tart from Love Island (sorry, don’t know any) vs. Cindy Crawford; uncouth, vacuous and nothing interesting to say vs. timeless be...

Re: carded valuations please

Welcome to the forum. You have some nice items, nothing super rare or desirable but the excellent condition does add a premium to a couple of them. Here's my valuations: Teebo - £45 Chief Chirpa - £60 B-Wing Pilot - £75 Rancor Keeper - £150 (this is the rarer '70B' version of the tri logo cardback)...

Re: Couple of Kenner rotj mocs...

Nice collection, I expect you’ve had, or will get a number of PMs so watch out for sharks. As a collection you’ll get 50-70 % of the value. Individually probably something like this: Nien Nunb £70 Kenobi £130 Yoda £180 Desert Fett £450 Luke Jedi £160 Han £300 Luke Bespin £200 Luke Skywalker £600 Tu...

Re: Latest Acquisitions

Great MOC. But why would you pay to have it graded? Beyond me, break it out I say! Why pay to have anything graded? The inconsistency between the same grades is proven beyond doubt and yet grade chasers exist. But yes, grading takes on a new level of lunacy with (great!) pieces like this. Nothing r...

Re: Star Wars Scalextric Prototype - Battle of Hoth Set items - never released

Thank you Weasel, it’s been a while since I was last on a forum and it’s taken me a while to work out how to get photos on, hopefully they are visible now? Rob, amazing item. Having seen the photos of the “finished” set it’s a shame it never got made. Looks bloody brilliant and much better than the...

Re: Star Wars Scalextric Prototype - Battle of Hoth Set items - never released

Never released , huh ? https://www.amazon.co.uk/Scalextric-Scale-Start-Star-Battle/dp/B00BCU6XVW Well, you find one for sale elsewhere or one that’s sold elsewhere. It was showcased at a Toy Fair in 2013 or so and a price set but it never made it to market. This is a very cool item and I’d love to ...

Re: East Bristol Auctions

It did end up with Bristol TS who called me. The way it works now is you have to report the matter through Citizen's Advice Bureau and they pass it on to the local TS if it's appropriate to do so. Yes, Andy and Andrew are one and the same person. I have his surname but as this is more of a "wat...

Re: East Bristol Auctions

I’ve reported East Bristol to Trading Standards in April 2018. TS actually gave me a call back and said they were going to be discussing with them “just how many offences they’d committed” . They were selling Real Ghost Busters proof cards as having been obtained directly from an ex-Kenner emp...

Re: Special buy figure bag

Tough one to price. If it's a genuine one it wouldn't surprise me if someone forked out three figures for it. Bare in mind you can then stick your own mint figures or baggies in to make it look great on display again.
