Re: Childhood Vintage collection Valuation.

I'm not an expwrt on grading, not into it, but not really sure it would be worth your trouble. The figures are play worn, as are the vehicles. You cpuld get good prices for the vehicles, assuming they are sound, because most of the boxes are in very good order. That Landspeeder looks like it came of...

Re: Childhood Vintage collection Valuation.

I can't give a valuation, but that is one great collection. I remember discovering my childhood figures and vehicles in the loft. I can only echo what has been said above. Make sure that you really want to sell. If so, then take closer photos, in focus, good lighting. Sell on here or Facebook groups...

Re: What got you back into collecting?

A few years ago a friend of mine was considering selling his childhood collection off. He, naturally, started off by posting here in the valuation thread, which how I became a member later. Anyway, long story, short... I ended up buying his Hoth Base and complete Bossk from him. I got my figures and...

Re: Warning new repro that is not in the tig guide

:( This is very upsetting, thanks for sharing. The simple float or drop test does not cut it anymore, you have to have a bloody expert to spot them.....I wish there was a service to send away all the accessories in one batch to authenticate what you have are ok. On the same topic, has there been an...

Re: Dose anyone remember a vintage figure shop in Coventry?

I remember Barnaby's or Barnby's.

The price tag was on the box of one of my Cherilea Action Man boxes before I sold it.

We lived in Rugby and my mum would take me to Cov sometimes.

I remember mum buying me the Batman with magnets on his hands and feet.

Re: Star Wars to Action Force

I’m like Edd. I moved from Star Wars to Transformers, He-man and M.A.S.K. but can’t for the life of me remember the exact order. My best mate had Action Force though so I did play with it. It is hard to remember exactly. I think i may have been something like this: Very early days of Matchbox and C...

Re: Vehicle parts giveaway

Looks like you've got a Transformers rocket amongst the Action Force stuff and the mortar and flame thrower from A-Team.
The silver weapons are from some Britain's figures.

Very generous of you.
