Re: Latest Modern Acquisitions

This arrived today and I’m over the moon, these are hard to come by, try and find another one... I only have Bossk and Leia Boussh left now to completely finish my Italian Green POTF2 run. Can anyone help? 🤞 Congratulations on picking that up, Nick! Your collection moves ever nearer to completion. ...

Re: Army Building and Focus Collecting Friend or Foe?

Kenner made over 300 million figures during the lifetime of the run ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kenner_Star_Wars_action_figures ). Army builder collectors won't make a serious dent in that total, and focus collectors and variant collectors not at all. None of those groups accounts for a signific...

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 21, 2020

OK full disclosure... I'm not really a fan of the Imperial Troop Transporter . Don't get me wrong, it's a great toy with loads of play value; it's got a mini record player that plays actual movie sounds quite literally at the press of a button, it can hold lots of figures, it has opening comp...

Don’t have one of these but it’s high on my wish list. But here’s one I opened as a child :D

Re: Deoid factory droids - figures or not?

The composition of a 'full run' has always been subjective, so if anyone wants to count the Droid Factory droids as bona fide figures for the purposes of their own run, no-one has a right to tell them they're wrong or right. Do I personally count them? No, but that doesn't mean I'm right or wrong to...

I like them all, but my favourite is the ROJ one as I think it's closest to the original design :-)

Re: Forthcoming Vintage Collecting Books

My posters arrived today, well packed in a strong cardboard tube. The designs are brilliant, albeit the 'Star Wars' version is a little eccentric in that they have manipulated the figure images in Photoshop to give them a slightly 'water colour' appearance to try to ape the design of the painted fig...

Re: Featherless Sy Snootles

I'm not 100% sure as I've never seen a Sy Snootles without a feather before, however judging from your photo, it certainly looks like it simply slots into her head (perhaps originally with some glue too?). However, I also don't remember ever seeing a loose feather for sale as an accessory before eit...
