Re: Resealing a 12-Back Palitoy Jawa

With the left side of the racetrack dealt with, it was now time to tackle the central yellow litho area. I won't lie, this was as tricky as hell, due to the need to line it up perfectly both with the cardback and the bubble yet to be attached! In the end, I gently tacked it in place with tiny amount...

Re: Resealing a 12-Back Palitoy Jawa

Because the right-hand and top edges of the bubble lined up so neatly with my Palitoy card, my first job was carefully slicing off the excess litho with my trusty X-Acto knife: 08 - Before X-Acto.jpg 09 - After X-Acto.jpg Now it would have been a damn sight easier if I could have simply stuck the bu...

Resealing a 12-Back Palitoy Jawa

Or... How to Self-Isolate Productively :-) As some of you may know, I like a good reseal. MOCs are wonderful, but Palitoy ones are getting pretty pricey for most collectors' wallets these days, and sadly that includes mine. However, a reseal can be achieved for a fraction of the cost... if you're pa...

I did like this one as a child. As you say the walk the plank bit is cool. Unfortunately the sail bits are too easy to break. Here we have a Kenner us Kenner Canada and 2 trilogo box variations
Great collection! Thanks for sharing :-)

It sounds like a lot of money, but I think you're forgetting this is the rare 'no lightsaber' version

Sticker Sheet ID Help Needed Please

I have been asked to help ID and value a friend's collection, and I'm fine with everything except this sticker sheet which I just cannot place. I'm almost certain it's vintage Star Wars, but I just cannot think what it belongs to. It may well be from a mini-rig, which I don't collect, and hence that...

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 12, 2020

Priness Leia, one of my favorite figures, the figure is fucking cool and kenner did a great job with her, even the cardbacks are perfect. I never had this figure when I was a kid and none of my friends had this figure, I never saw it for sale in the shops when I was a kid so I guess it was not so e...

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 12, 2020

Here's my 12 back which was a sealed Palitoy 12 back cut card that I attached to the card back. It's always nice to have a sealed figure as you know that everything is present and correct and can also help identifying how real capes and weapons should look. Ian More STUNNING work, Ian! Simply magni...

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 8, 2020

This is another of my sealed Palitoy 12 back cut cards that I attached to the card back. This one came out pretty nice and I used to have a sealed moc of this Palitoy 12 back and sold it on so it's nice to still have a nice example. Ian Ian, they simply don't get any better than this. FANTASTIC wor...

Here's my 30 back reseal, it's a little yellowed (like so many found on this card back), but he's got it where it counts :D

Ian
That's just brilliant! I'm still on the lookout for one of these, so it's great to see yours. My favourite figure on a wonderful card.

Thanks for sharing :-)
