It's crazy, and looks like it will only be getting worse, a biker scout just went for £90.00 on eBay, two bidders going back and forth, I've no idea why people are paying these prices for common figures.

I can't help with the insert but ebay UK didn't start until 1999 four years after the US site.

I found this on rebelscum, the post was from 2009, showing the rebel base on Yavin, it looks like a screen shot with the VME in the background.
