Re: Vintage Star Wars collecting where are we at ?

I loved the original trilogy as a kid, I was born in 70 so just the right age for them. I have fantastic memories of buying, collecting and playing with the toys, and having other items including Letraset, Helix, Deeko, Fascal stickers, Topps trading cards, Vymura wallpaper, FKS and Panini stickers,...

Re: THE VINTAGE REBELLION : Episode 64 LAUNCHED

Enjoyed listening this month - I never enjoy hearing the sound of my own voice but hope I came over OK! Great to listen to the bits that weren't covered when we recorded, the interview with Ben Sheehan was great, and particularly the main interview with Alistair, he's got an amazing collection and m...

Re: Poll threads

I'm in agreement for the polls and TOTW to have a separate page on the board. I love the threads and wouldn't want to see them stop, but they do kind of take over the main forum.

Re: Luke DT Light Saber Real or Fake?

First impression is it doesn’t look good, but it’s hard to tell from the pics. It looks too new and shiny and doesn’t have the bend at the end of the inner filament that a lot of them do.k Is there a letter on the tab (the bit that sticks out of the underside of the arm)? Or any EPM marks on the sha...

Re: Latest Acquisitions

Mail call! Had these in over the past few days. Really pleased to get the Westbrook birthday card which is the last one needed for my sealed set. Also an ILM crew patch from Ep 1, and two more Dairylea labels - I’m half way there on those now. But the pick of the bunch is the Empire Day promotional ...

Re: Latest Acquisitions

Finally, managed to get hold of a full set of Battlestar Galactica Shreddies scenes. Know they're not SW, but I hope people will appreciate them. Arguably harder to find than the SW ones and often go for crazy prices. Got these for a smidge over £30, so really chuffed. They will make up part of my ...

Re: VECTIS AUCTION - Thursday 26th September

I'm really sorry to hear that Steve, I know how passionate you are about collecting and it must be a real wrench to part with some of the fantastic items that you have. However, you've definitely made the right choice - there's more to life than a hobby, and I'm sure your kids will greatly appreciat...
