Re: star wars arcade 1up
I'm in Ontario Canada and I've had mine since Christmas. I'm not crazy about the resolution that the game plays at. When the death star is destroyed it looks like solid white bands rather than the individual lines you'd have seen on the real cabinet. I've got the settings so that there is a bit of g...

Re: The Running Stormtrooper Podcast
Thanks for sharing this, Stuart. It's great to see you and Jez collaborating on this project. Now that I've got loads of free time on my hands, I do believe I'll check out the podcast this week.

Re: Hello all. It's been a while
Nice to see someone with knowledge and respect logging back in after a while, not like these new people who just post on threads they've got nothing to do with.
I think Sublevel is right that the plague will be bringing people back.

Re: Alleged footage for cancelled Star Wars: Underworld project
It really killed me seeing people saying things like "We're soooo lucky that Lucas sold to Disney or we'd have got this terrible show!" So out of touch, this is a tech demo, when you see what the set looks like later in the video, the quality of the keying process, and object tracking is e...

I wouldn't be doing my job if I didn't post this pannel from Celebration Chicago. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to film this one but I put the audio together with the slides. All 20 panels are on that youtube channel, 15 out of 20 have the full video (camera on presenter + slides). This Arcades...

Nice pickups all. @TheJabbaWookie the POCH figures look great, love the apple green Yoda. I’ve no real knowledge on POCH figures, are they all kind of scarred with melt marks from some manufacturing process?? I’ll do some reading up on them, any good links that anyone would like to share? Nice score Mini! I'm biased because I was 7 or 8 when that came out and I thought the action feature on the jaw was the best thing ever. That's the first time I've seen that packaging variant. Here's my latest modern piece: https://i42.servimg.com/u/f42/19/57/22/00/image010.jpg Saw one deliberately ...

Re: N64 Games
Don't forget to pick up Battle for Naboo if you like the first Rogue Squadron, it's really just more of the same. Also, the opening Lucas Arts Logo slams down and kills Jar Jar every time you turn the game on... if you're into that.

I was at a show called "Toy Force" today in Ajax, Ontario, Canada. I'm working on a Canadian MOC Run, I've got about 50, give or take a couple of cardback variations. For whatever reason, this version of Klaatu on a Canadian card has been particularly elusive, at least over the last 4 year...

Re: Celebration 2019 is in Chicago.
Hey guys, I'm Chris from Canada! I'm going to Chicago with a couple other Canadian collectors. I was the main interview on episode 50 of the Vintage Rebellion on which I demonstrated my enthusiasm for Kenner Canada Items despite my limited knowledge of the intricate details of their parent company, ...

Re: Original Blu-Rays
The 2008 DVD set is the most authentic experience in my opinion. The main problem is that it's a 4:3 with a 2.35:1 film in the middle of it. This leads to some serious viewing problems for people who don't understand what they're looking at. When that squarish 4:3 window pops up on someones big 16:9...

Well, it seems you're preaching to the choir here, that was a far more diverse range of opinions than I'd expected.
