Re: Settle for a reseal?

Assuming the price is fair, and given the rarity, I would buy the reseal. Yes, technically it doesn't complete your run as you're still looking for a fully sealed version, but you can always upgrade if and when the factory sealed one comes around.

Re: !!SPOILERS!! The Mandalorian Spoilers Allowed Discussion Thread

All valid points and whilst I agree that certain plot devices, such as the tracking fob, would be helped with some basic explanation I think as fans we can also fall into the pit of over analysing. There was mention in the first or second chapter about a code as well. Maybe these things co off some ...

Re: Modern wanted thread

Has anyone got a spare Han Carbonite from the POTF2 Slave 1? Looks like the vintage one but is grey instead.

Well, If Mr Havens had it graded himself it may be a case of preferential treatment I suspect.

Re: !!SPOILERS!! The Mandalorian Spoilers Allowed Discussion Thread

Is it me or does it feel like Disney have massively dropped the ball with The Mandalorian? And I don't mean the obvious lack of rolling put Disney+ so everyone can see it, but the lack of merchandise. The internet is ablaze with love for the show and its characters, ships, worlds etc, "baby Yoda" is...

Personally I feel 'nearly complete' means it should have the vast majority of its parts. 25% of its accessories ain't gonna cut the mustard, muchacho!

Re: Farthest From XXI Sunday 1st of December

Another cracking show. Great to catch up with so many and put some more names to faces. Lots of great stuff was up for sale and I think possibly the best selection of MOCs I've seen at FF in a long time. Thanks to Dave and the team for laying it on and really cool to see the original ROTJ shop displ...

Yes, a replacement batch and a nightmare insurance claim
Cheers, Rich. Fingers crossed by some miracle HMRC release our books in time form Sunday. Ahhh, who am I kidding, we're talking about a government department!

Re: !!SPOILERS!! The Mandalorian Spoilers Allowed Discussion Thread

Another enjoyable episode (ep4), but for me, it's been the weakest so far. Bit of a predictable 'Magnificent Seven' plot, that seemed more of a sidestep than advancing the plot. Gina Curanos character was well handled and at least she looks the part. Built like a brick shithouse, you can well belie...

Re: Waffle pattern on Vintage SW cardbacks

From what I can see the bubble and seal looks fine. It might just be reflections but the figure looks to have some play wear on him (chips and scratches on the chrome around his crotch and upper legs), which would be odd for factory sealed figure.

Re: New Kim Simmons book - bulk order

Very disappointed to say that I cannot bring these books to FF unless a miracle happens. The replacement books ( a long story) have been held in UK customs since Tuesday and look as though they've still not been released. This whole situation has been a nightmare with delays and missed deadlines. N...

Re: Waffle pattern on Vintage SW cardbacks

It is possible and people do do it. Reseals are an accepted part of the hobby and you can usually tell. However, depending on how damaged the card back and bubble were when originally opened, if can go unnoticed. There are sellers who may knowingly sell a reseal as an original factory seal or someon...

Re: Propstore auction this week

I'm surprised too. I always thought the Prop Store auctions were similar to Vectis, in that they always seem to garner a premium. Perhaps it's just a little too close to Christmas? Still, I was pleased to see that the Revenge crew sweater went for good money. That's considerably more than I paid for...
