Re: OT: It's not everyday you discover a prototype in your collection

That’s brilliant Edd. I used to have a Ladybird book when I was little which featured Stephenson’s Rocket so was always interested in it. My childhood Hornby is still at my Mum’s and Dad’s. They’ve palmed everything back to me save this, as my Dad is a massive Hornby fan (and probably still plays wi...

Re: Squid head, Yoda and Klaatu variants

I’m not a Squid Head collector but I’ve seen some folks collections with loads of different cape colour variations. In most cases they are just degradation but people love collecting them anyway.

Re: Squid head, Yoda and Klaatu variants

Firstly the Yoda looks to be a Unitoy Orange Snake Yoda with incorrect Kader belt, and incorrect dark brown cane (can’t tell what factory without close up posts from both sides) and incorrect snake (again need close up pics). The Klaatu is the European no Coo version made by the Smile factory with p...

With the £1 listing you have to make sure you sell within the 4 day time frame I think. Nice Yoda, good luck with the sale. :)
Only if you Auction it. If you put it up BIN you need to sell in the initial 30 day period

Re: Childhood Toy shop

I’m always hopeful I might see a W E Wass sticker on a SW card as that was the shop I bought a lot of my stuff from in Colchester (along with BHS) in the 80s.

It’s a fishing tackle shop now

Re: Featherless Sy Snootles

I'm not 100% sure as I've never seen a Sy Snootles without a feather before, however judging from your photo, it certainly looks like it simply slots into her head (perhaps originally with some glue too?). However, I also don't remember ever seeing a loose feather for sale as an accessory before ei...
