Re: Vintage Die Cast Tie Bomber
Around the time I bought mine, I was led to believe the Tie Bomber was only trialed in three US States and was not available anywhere else. Theswca say was a test market of 75,000. This seems a disputed fact. Someone on one website who claims to own two bought at Toys R Us in 1980 states "As it...

Here is mine. The Kenner catalog pages also make it look very cool. I always thought this was a underrated toy. I did a post about it http://retrotoyinfo.co.uk/tag/biker-scout-laser-pistol/ http://retrotoyinfo.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/Close-up-view-of-kenner-biker-scout-laser-pistol.png http...

Re: No luck but am I being ripped off?
I show you pictures of my genuine MOC 20 back. It might help. The pictures are slight blurry. As been said before, the paint on the hands is not normal. http://retrotoyinfo.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/STAR-WARS-KENNER-BEN-MOC-CLOSE-UP-1.png http://retrotoyinfo.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/S...

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 6, 2018, Part 1/2
My is mint in box, I wanted best example I could find. The accessories sealed in bags. I am in two minds about this playset. In the box it looks nice. Loose and when it gets discoloured or dirty, it just looks like an unsightly lump of plastic. I like the little playset features, where you flick to ...

Any of my star wars I have sold I regret, but have had to for financial reasons. I have even had to sell star wars items to pay my rent in the past.

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 5, 2018, Part 2/2
I am very fond of the Droids series. The figures were also released by Kenner Canada in Bi-lingual text and some by Glasslite in Brazil. Added interest to the Droids series figures includes the cross over to include Boba Fett, the last 17 A-Wing pilot, new versions of C-3PO and R2-D2, the inclusion...

My genuine sealed 12 back carded Leia would not have cost me more than £100, I bought it around 2002 I think

Re: RotJ yellow bubbles
Just listened to that podcast, didn't have a clue what he was talking about! Far too scientific. And there is no conclusive evidence what makes them yellow and brittle. It's pretty obvious that plastic degrades over time and once it's extremely yellowed is likely to start breaking apart. Unfortunat...
