Re: Show of your truly rare items
I really like the plastic bag, that's a great piece. Also, the black and white Capture Log print without the red seems unique. I do like paperwork! and as for the Lyons Maid sign - that's a fabulous item to own. I have posted my Palitoy and Kenner letters before on another thread and believe that th...

Some great loose pieces there!
I must admit I never knew he had a weapon as my Trilogo did not come with one.
Here's my childhood Yak Face with original cardback and bubble (the bubble can sit back in place pretty well).
I'll add the COO another time.

What a lot of lovely R5's everyone has!
A little late to the party but here is my childhood R5 complete with original bubble and Trilogo cardback.
The bubble is completely loose, just positioned for the photo.

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 29, 2018, Part 2/2
Lots of lovely cardbacks in this thread and fabulous condition "Numbs" - really great to see. Did Nien Nunb ever come on a cardback with his own mailaway offer? I loved this figure with his unique gun and waistcoat. Naively, as a child I always thought that Nien Nunb was only available as ...

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 28, 2018, Part 2/2
Great collection apack - can they be called snaggleteeth? Here's my loose childhood one... unfortunately no weapon or cardback to show. I traded to get this and back then in the 80s I wished it was the fabled blue one. Even so - a great little figure, which was very playable. As most photos are from...

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 27, 2018, Part 2/2
Some lovely examples of one of my favourite mini rigs - great to see them. Here is my childhood Radar Laser Cannon. It's loose and unstickered as I bought it second hand from a friend, so I don't know which packaging it would have had. I'm showing the part numbers if it is interesting to anyone. The...

Wow - some lovely examples of Zuckuss you have Dr_Ball! Strange how those bootlegs kind of get the head and torso right, but the limbs are way-off. Really great MOC and Revenge proof. Here's my childhood Kenner 77 back ROTJ Zuckuss, the cardback and bubble (75% attached) are original to the figure....

Re: Mint OFF Card
In the above sale, the photo tells the real story, and apart from the MOC in the description I don't think the seller was trying to pretend that it is a true MOC. Considering that carded figures are often described as MOC but turn out to have a cut bubble, opened MOC, bubble lifting etc, or where a ...

Thank you - it's been fun archiving each childhood figure and I'm so glad I kept the card backs and bubbles.Dr_Ball_MD wrote:That's amazing! I wish I still had my childhood Zuckuss.
The polish bootlegs use mostly Biker Scout limbs.
I see the biker scout influence now... knee caps are a giveaway.

Re: Stormy in the wild
Haven't had a go at it as yet, but There are a number of options that have been discussed on here over time, I'm sure there was a thread, which I can't find, that advised acne cream, I know t sounds odd, but it's down to the chemical in the cream, but you always have to be careful with chemicals. O...

Re: Stormy in the wild
What a great gift and very nice condition - lucky man! Have you had any luck cleaning the red from the legs? Any idea what it is? I have a Trilogo stormtrooper that has a similar red discoloration on its legs - I thought it happened in storage with colour transfer from my snaggletooth, but I can't ...
