Re: I feel like somebody's being ambitious!
Completely agree with Ryan there. He's not actually ripping anyone off... he's just an idiot which he's allowed to be as long as it only hurts him. Nobody's going to pick it up at that price (well as long as they're of stable mind!) and I think he'll realise that soon enough. I'm more intere...

Re: I feel like somebody's being ambitious!
The whole Palitoy = $$$$ is no a new phenomena, but having been buying these things for years it's certainly annoying!! But I think you guys are missing the fact that they will send the PD special delivery due to high value. So that really makes it worth buying! I missed the Special Delivery bit, I...

Re: I feel like somebody's being ambitious!
I can't believe how sellers can be so deluded. They've listed even more rubbish all at ridiculous prices. How difficult is it to look at completed auctions? When i kindly pointed out their error they said they've been selling Star Wars for 20 years. Oh hum! Well they must have been selling t...

I'm thinking 35-45 seems a more realistic price although you might have to pay more for the brown glue they used!

I second that , go on see what they say.Dark Sith Lord wrote:Stormtrooper37 wrote:Very misleading description, still over-priced even if it wasn't a reseal, sellers like this make me![]()
I'm tempted to send a message saying do you mean the bidding starts at £5.95 and that you have missed the decimal point out?
DO IT mate

Re: I feel like somebody's being ambitious!
Yeah well over priced, I paid about $450 for a graded example (my only graded card) & the one from the same seller as the chewie only went up to £175 & did not meet its reserve, so may well still be available  I had a feeling it didn't go for much although I guess it'll be back up on ...

Re: I feel like somebody's being ambitious!
Lol! I saw that this morning. They've priced it as if its a nice one rather than a reseal. £30 tops. Maybe they got a little to caught up in the whole Chewbacca situation this week and now think that any Palitoy figure with a card is worth 1000's. Any idea what that sealed Palitoy Power droid went ...

Re: MOC 12BK Chewbacca on ebay now!
Just back from 2 weeks in Cuba. 5 grand for a chewie? :o Jason 5600, it was quite the day for all of us watching and it's kind of a shame it'll be leaving the country. I remember about a year ago a set of 10 Palitoy 12 backs plus AFA graded vehicles and a AFA 90 12 back Double T Luke going for 20k....

Re: MOC 12BK Chewbacca on ebay now!
Wow. That went for way more than I thought it would. At that value, if it was anywhere in europe, i'd be delivering it myself. No way i'd risk sending it in the mail. Congrats Jonny. 8) Not sure if my last quote made it for some reason but has anyone noticed that the winning bidder doesn't seem to ...

Re: 12-back stormtrooper UKG 80%
I can speak from experience and say this is a beauty - very unlucky not to get an 85 If it was'nt for that slight sticker residue. I've used lighter fluid and a cotton bud to clean sticker residue off in the past and it never damages the card. In fact I've even sent a few off to AFA like this...

WTB Resealed/opened Palitoy 12 back Chewbacca
HI, I'm looking for a resealed or opened Palitoy 12 back Chewbacca to complete my collection. I already have one with a very yellowed bubble and would love to get hold of one with a clear bubble. Also it would mean I could finally get rid of the one I made using a Kenner cut card! I've posted my col...

Cheers for that, I've been putting a resealed collection together over the past few years so I'll get it posted up soon for everyone to take a look at.sith-smith wrote:Another Palitoy fan?
