I keep saying to myself to stop buying modern but then I see the ROTJ Fett and before I know it I’ve slapped a pre order in :?
I know what you mean about this figure, it really does look incredible and I may well go for one myself to keep safe in a box somewhere lol!

Re: My thrift store find

what a great find! That's one big thing I miss about not being in the US, those amazing thrift stores they have, there are some amazing things to find in them although I don't remember ever seeing any vintage SW.

Great haul :)

Re: The Mandalorian Season 2 Trailer

I don't know where everyone is getting stranger things season 4 realease date for this year as it's only just started production up filmings not even finished yet. I'm sure I read it was due in October ages ago, in fact I thought this was announced just after season 3 finished. Obviously with all t...

Right, Imp Gunnery is now working for the most part (apart from Jawa pics) and they all seem good to me. Just had the OK from Dan Tearle on Echo as well 8)
I know all of the ones with the reseals i sold you were good so double check them against those to see how they sound and feel.

Re: I’ve just located my 60+ childhood cardbacks!

Ah I was a south bristol boy - this one was in Knowle West. Bit sad to know I missed out on any bristol toy shops! I didn't realise that there was a chain of them and the Martins in kingswood kept all of their Star Wars figures in wicker baskets, so you had to rummage through them to see what was i...

Re: I’ve just located my 60+ childhood cardbacks!

This is the Bristol Debenhams! I always remember the figures being much more expensive there - In the "fancy" department store IMG_3650.jpgIMG_3651.jpg Yet Boba is more expensive! This is almost certainly the second Boba I got - This is from Martins - Which IIRC was a toy shop in a South ...

Re: The Listening Post.

Honestly, this is what I think It boils down to. The only people that will be pissed off are scalpers, people that purely purchased to flip later, and those that bought one purely due to it being limited and cant stand others having something. Those that actually want one in their collection and ac...

Re: The Listening Post.

Just a little bit intel so take this with a small bit of salt, however I get a sneaky feeling that it is true. The Sail Barge will be getting a re-release, in what capacity I don't know, and I doubt the limited Yak face will be contained within it. Fantastic news for those that wanted one but misse...

Re: The Listening Post.

It's been a long time since i have ordered from them (apparently a few BluRays back in 2013...) but my account was active so i have gone for it. Bloody expensive but it won't be cheeper in the future and it looks spectacular........ The good thing with Zavvi is that there shipping is cheap but you ...

Re: The Listening Post.

The Super Commando is up for pre-order on Zavvi for £27.00. I’ve never used them before but I’m probably going to wait and hope my more regular stockists get more in. Zavvi are a really decent seller who pack the items well and have very cheap shipping prices but they do take forever to send things...

Re: After 40 years it's finally finished!

I wonder if 40 years is a record for completing a sticker album, congratulations. I had this album too and looking at these images and doing playground swaps must have subliminally helped ingrain the obsession for Star Wars in our young brains! Thanks for the all the comments and the strange thing ...

Re: James Martin / Waltham Wookiee

That's really sad to hear as I remembered meeting him at the last FF and enjoyed seeing his posts on here. I can't say that I knew him really but he always came across as a very decent person and it's a sad loss for us on here as well as all of his family and friends.

RIP James
