Re: Cheap Ass Vintage Star Wars Toy Stories...

I remember a few things. Around the time of Jedi I'd go to the beach with a mate and we would dig down to wet sand and make a small tunnel that you could fit your hand through. We'd fill it up with dry sand and stand Star Wars figures in it. At the other end of the tunnel you could dig out the dry s...

Yeah, that's the guy. He had a kind of 70's haircut, longish with a fringe. Seemed like a bit of a geezer. I didn't know he had stuff in Brighton, next time I'm down there I'll say hello.

Re: alfies antiques in the 90s? was it TONI?

I have no idea if this guy was Toni or not, but it used to go to Alfie's and trade stuff with him. I remember one time I had a bunch of loose figures, two of which were Hoth Stormtroopers. When he saw then he said "Oh no, I've got more of them than Darth Vader!" I thought it was pretty funny... He d...

Try making your own inserts, it's not too difficult.

Re: Vintage Star Wars compulsion, please help!

I'm kind of in the same boat as captainhancock. I've had a loose figure collection and a few vehicles that I've managed to hold onto through the years. In the summer I broke an ESB glass that I'd had since the early 80's and decided to try and track one down on ebay... That was the start. So in the ...

WTB - Loose Sandcrawler - GOT ONE!

So I've been looking for one of these for a while, just joined the forum after gazing at everyones collections.

I'm really after a complete fully working one. I think a box would be out of my price range, but if anyone has a spare Sandcrawler (!) in any condition let me know.

Re: Who's Who - Introduce yourself!

Hi everyone, I've been into the Original Trilogy for years and have just started picking up a few old toys. Mostly it's stuff I wish I'd had as a kid, and other stuff to replace what my mum threw out. I've a lot of loose stuff - a complete set of figures (well 96, is that a complete set here?), all ...
