Re: Coin Carded POTF Yak Face

Just you wait to hear how much your coins are worth nowadays Carl   Bloody hell Joe, never thought of them, please enlighten me? You don't want to know Carl. Well maybe you do. :) Several of the heavy hitters are approaching the $2k mark with a couple of them going passed that now. Here...

Re: Should live or recently ended eBay auctions be allowed to be outed on SWF

Just skimmed most of the thread. I'm curious with the split if it is a matter of collectors that have been on the forums longer are opposed as to some of the newer ones. I agree exactly with that Jason posted above in that if it is something you know someone collects, just pm it on. That's how many ...

Re: Losing ones MoJo

I don't think you're alone at all in this thinking Frank as this thread has proved. I've felt this way too over the last year, but my disposable income also decreased with a baby and house. At least we've all been at this long enough that we've taken the time to accumulate great collections that mak...

Re: Time to call it a day.

Really sorry to see this news Lee. I'd agree with some of the others than maybe you should consider to hold off. I didn't see what happened, but give some time to think things through before selling up. Also, as mentioned RS just isn't what it used to be. It was the hub for buying/selling back in th...

Re: Latest Acquisitions

Lots of great buys everyone.

Love that Emperor mailer poster!

Been quite awhile since I've posted anything new. I didn't buy too much at Celebration Anaheim, but did pick up this transparency of the A-Wing coin to go with the POTF coin collection. Finally got around to trying to take a photo of it.

That's a great feature Joe! I hope that you can get some more photos from Bdays and Christmas mornings with Trilogos to add to it.

Some great news to wake up to. I always thought this would have been a good way for UKG to differentiate themselves from AFA.

Re: Early Bird figures - the chosen four

I've wondered this too. One theory for at least 3 of them that I have is that it was to get you to want to go to the store and get the other figures. You have Luke, so you obviously need Vader for a duel. You have Chewbacca, so you also need to go and buy Han to go with him, and then R2-D2 you have ...

Re: Luke's yellow saber

I hope that someday an answer will be found on the yellow saber thing. The only theory that seems to make the most sense was to add variety. No good point, but the blue saber switching to green is odd as they got the wrong colour for the previous two films and didn't bother correcting it. I know Luc...

Re: Luke in Jedi Robes Unproduced Figure on Twitter

So is this the origional Luke Jedi or a completely new Luke for the POTF line that never happened? At one time this was considered to be a unproduced POTF figure and that was the story. However, almost 10 years ago now it was discovered that the figure was shown on a French version of a ROTJ poster...

Re: SWFUK PODCAST Episode 9 LAUNCHED

Just getting started, but wanted to say thanks for the great discussion on the Yoda Alt back coin. Crazily enough just as this was hitting some new info has come out about the alt backs and linking them to being more modern pieces rather than vintage. Here's the thread if anyone wants to try and wra...

Re: How do you tell the difference? Toys R us Exclusives

The loose figures have a 1995 copyright and a China coo from what I remember. The figures are also quite different in hand. They were cast off the original figures and not made using the vintage molds, os they are slightly smaller when compared to the real thing. The weapons also have a different fe...

Figured I'd go ahead and add my info, but it'll certainly look pathetic compared to you lot. :)

Re: Latest Acquisitions

The last LJ piece to come in this year was an awesome "what if" Popy custom box from Ryan(Bluedog) It would have been really interesting to see if Popy would had continues this style if they would have kept the license for ROTJ in Japan. I paired it here with my earliest LJ baggie. :)
