Re: Dave in camden

Got to Monkeys Emporium. Nice bloke with a couple of cases of vintage and some boxed vehicles. Prices were on the high side but that's to be expected for a shop. Leia Organa complete £125, pop up R2 complete £529. Lots of loose, some in excellent condition. Some bootlegs and carded figures. Tri-logo...

Re: London for vintage?

I went to Orbital Comics last week. They have vintage and modern pieces in a couple of cabinets and some modern out back with comics. That had a few loose figures, Maxine, Rebel Commando, and a few more but at £12 each loose. Interestingly, they had a lot of old Mask stuff which was cool to see as ...

Re: Care when posting pictures.

I just checked on my phone, its a an android Vodafone.
When using the actual camera, one can turn off the GPS in the advanced settings.
I'm assuming that's all it takes.

Re: Help with ERG cardback

I've got my figures and most cardbacks from my childhood. Just checked mine and the card on the left with the Kenner logo goes with the figure on the left.
I have that combination in my collection.

Re: Fun poll time!

I sold a jacket recently listed as only posting within the UK.
It had several bids and then a bid from a user in Korea with 0 feedback.
I was able to remove his bid which subsequently blocked him/her from bidding again on that item.
I listed my reason for doing so.
It was good enough for me.

Re: How Many Known Examples Exist?

Its an impossible question to answer, how could anyone ever know how many still exist or are even available. I still believe there mocs stored away that people are just unaware that they are even around them. Just sitting waiting to be found in a loft or even in storage in old shops forgotten about...

Re: Valuations for a few MOCs please

I might be off as well, but think I'd price them a bit higher as follows:

Han £70
AT-AT Commander £80-90 (does have some hanger damage though).
Chewie £130
4-lom £70

Couldn't even guess at the Dignitary.

Re: When is Echo Base Redditch 2018 ??

Waiting for a date to be announced.
At the start of the year it has been in April, on the day of the Grand National.
I haven't been able to go because of work (I'm a bookie).
I was able to get to the last one with a mate in October though.
It was even better than I could have imagined.

Re: Solo: A Star Wars Story Trailer... TONIGHT!!!!

This guy ( Anthony Ingruber ) should have been cast to play Han, why the fuck this somehow didn't happen I really don't know but whoever decided not to choose him is a moron imo. This Solo film would have been 10 times better with Ingruber, this isn't just some random nobody on youtube either which...

Re: No luck but am I being ripped off?

This is my carded Ben I picked up for £40 at the NEC last year.
The bubble is split at the bottom but still sealed OK.
I plan to preserve it in a case so hopefully it doesn't get worse. It's stored away laying flat at present.

Like has been said, if you're patient then you will find a good one.

Yeah, it has more of a Rogue One feel to it.
The sets appear good and I'm looking forward to the full trailer.

^ Thanks, man.

I'm watching the Superbowl but obviously not gonna screen it in the UK.
Besides, I'm watching the coverage on BBC.
