I’m sure that collection will grow quickly to fill that cabinet, really nice Luke. :D
Thanks, I've already prepped the wife to expect another cabinet. That room is mine to be fair.. so she gets final say through the rest of the house. :D

Re: Y-Wing box restoration - before and after!

Yes agreed, ink touch up on MOC's is a pet hate for me. However this is a great job, done perfectly. The MOC I received today has a slight bit of touch up, so no grading, but I'm not too fussed and didn't call the seller out for not mentioning it . When you see what can be achieved with the Y Wing ...

Re: Latest Acquisitions

First vintage SW I've bought in about 8 years ... I finally bought a display cabinet to house the 5 MOC's I hadn't sold off from my old collection and have this week added the loose graded landos and the B-Wing Pilot MOC. I have a loose graded Wicket, Ree Yees, Han Bespin in the post along with an A...

Re: Who's Who - Introduce yourself!

Thanks for the advice, I did have a look at the repro section of TIG the other day, and there's now a huge amount of detail available compared to when I used to reference it. I half expected someone to tell me they have been found in graded items too to be honest, its understandable I guess given th...

Re: Who's Who - Introduce yourself!

Joined here around 2006 but haven't posted since 2013 so thought I'd reintroduce myself. Nice to see some familiar names still! I've being buying, selling and re-buying vintage Star Wars ever since I could afford to.. each time I come back the price hike makes my eyes water! Anyway married and settl...

Re: Yoda 21 back?!? WTF

Ha that made me chuckle in fairness!

Looks cool, if a bit weird seeing him on a 21 back! So if it's a 21 back who do you demote off the back... surely it's a 22 back now? 8)

Re: Lost for words after seeing this!

Just apologise to each other FSS it's clear that it's just a big misunderstanding. Look one of you apologise, either or and if the other one doesn't accept then they are more the fool. It's gone way beyond the disappointment of the initial breakdown on the sale. It's personal now and there's no need...

Re: production in the masses

I'd guess it was Vader as it came out on SW ESB and ROTJ and was integral to any kids collection. That would be my guess anyhow.

Re: Lost for words after seeing this!

"Subject: Re: you know what Joe" I agree with Iain there, that seems how it panned out to me. The only confusion to me is the original or new mail from you Mete has a subject title (above) showing "Re:" suggesting it was a response although the subject "you know what Joe sou...

Re: Lost for words after seeing this!

As this is an open forum where you can express an opinion, Can I just say my view is I find all this a tad melodramatic. Shit happens...one day, god forbid, something really life changing might happen and the acquisition or non-acquisition of a 3 inch figure will come sharply into perspective it's n...

Re: Displaying graded items advice

I'll probably secure the bookcase to the wall at some point, was thinking invisible wire across the front to catch them if it tips. Dunno, wish the bases were a bit more stable.

Oh I've told them if they break them I'll sell them in to child labour to pay for them. :D
