I realize that this example is in excellent condition for bubble and cardback, but is this close to the standard rate for 21 back Wally?

I've never tracked him ebay to see what his pricing trends have been. I still need one for my collection but I'll be happy with the most common/least expensive cardback variation. I'm assuming ROTJ. Would I be right or are his ESB cards more plentiful?

Hey wally, ( Crickets stop )

Not much of an expert myself mate your best bet is to check the completed listings on ebay and see if you can see a similar condition one. Should give you a fair idea of it's market value.

If not I'm sure someone with the appropriate knowledge will chime in.............eventually.

Rotj would be cheapest. A nice Jedi one will set you back 40-50. A decent ESB will be around the 100+ mark and a decent star wars card can be anything from around 150-250 dependant on cardback and offer/ offerless.

Hope this helps.

$150-250 was what I had assumed the range would be. I was surprised to see this one fly by $400 in the last minute. It was seemingly immaculate so I'm assuming this is another case of people out to flip figures for a profit by submitting it to the AFA. I'll be watching for the AFA'd version of this figure in short while with a $2000 BIN price if it get's an 85 score. I'd be happy to come across a decent ROTJ carded example for $40-50.

I have done 'ebay homework' recently on ebay, but the completed listings only go back so far and don't really give a fully accurate view of the overall market value, which is why I figured here would be a better place to get a gauge on the situation.

BTW, my name is Mike, Wally was just the figure in question.

Lol. I was talkin in pounds buddy. I should have made that clear.

I guess I assumed dollars because this auction for an ESB version a month ago finished at $97

this ESB one finished at $99

and this ESB one (a little damaged) finished at $76

and this 21 back that already has an AFA 80 went for $250

The AFA one was a bargain IMO. Even with the Toys R Us sticker. Id say if you can get an ESB in c8+ condition for $90-100 thats a pretty good price mate.
