Hi guys,
I bought two lots of lose vintage Star Wars figures recently in Germany and in the Netherlands.
One lot was sold by a guy who collected the figures as a child. All figures are in a great shape, most with weapons. He also had most of the instructions and a few cardbacks. However, there is a General Madine with odd haircolor. The guy couldn't remember that he painted any of his figures. Did a creative child just painted this head or is this some kind of variant I'm not aware of?
The second lot I bought contained 25 figures in nearly mint condition with original weapons. I don't have any background informations on the small collection but everything looks great. However theres a Vader (NO COO, raised bar) with a saber I have never seen before. It sinks like a stone and is in a very dull, powerful red color. Looks like the body of the saber is made from some kind of dark plastic and then got painted afterwards. I already had a lot of original and repro sabers in my hands but nothing like this. I'd appreciate any kind of input.
Thanks
Paul
