DT Kenobi Saber

I found this item in an ice cream tub full of toys back in 1994.

It looks like a Ben Kenobi saber.

I have a DT Luke and its not really like that.

Its hollow as if a DT could stick out of it, but the back is sealed. I cant remember any repos at the time and bought it from a friend who owned a market stall and would buy bulk loads of peoples unwanted toys.

What do you pro's think?

Maybe it's hollowed out by someone who doesn't know what a DT saber is supposed to look like?
