Love him or loathe him, Toy Toni has been a fixture of vintage Star Wars collecting since the very beginning, including his cabinet at Snoopers Paradise in Brighton, which has been there for many years. Today while visiting the town centre for the first time since the second lockdown ended, I noticed that his familiar cabinet had some fetching glassware in it rather than the usual selection of Star Wars toys: I thought he might have just moved to another cabinet, but I asked at the front counter and they confirmed he no longer sells there. Luckily Tim's excellent section is still going strong, and to be honest it's been better than Toni's for years now, but despite all of Toni's actions it still makes me a little sad that this cabinet, which I have bought dozens of things from over the last 20 odd years, is no more. He still seems to be selling on eBay though, so is maybe not retiring from selling vintage just yet!
