Hi guys can you run your eyes over this one and let me know if this seal is original? TFB pointed out it doesn't seem to have the waffle pattern and looking at it a second time I'm in agreement with him it doesn't seem to have it. Card looks good to me but I have never seen a seal with an edge like this one.
Cheers in advance
James

It could be a smooth seal, but I thought these only occurred on Jedi cards. Also it appears to be non-uniform, almost making it appear to have been glued down (or double sided tape as the seal lines under the bubble look strange to me).

Todd, your right the more I look at this one the more looks odd with it, the seal seems totally off centre as if it were designed for a larger figure, check out how big the gap is on the left hand side and how tiny it is on the right. Its a strange one but I have zero expertise with 21 back ESB cards.

The more I look at it...I am thinking reseal with a new bubble. Edges are all lifting and the stuff used for sealing it appears to have a straight uniform line all the way around......like tape.

It looks like it was put on crooked. Not that is did not happen from time to time at the factory.......but this figure is off for sure.

Snap I did exactly the same thing ;) the bubbles good but I'm not sure if its a reseal I found this over on scummers check out the fail on the seal on the right hand side its in exactly the same spot on all three examples.

I'm not sure about it being a reseal, I have seen these ESB cards look like this especially Boba Fett. I think maybe it's seal is failing and against the black edge of the card back it tends to make the seal look like this (unlike the 12/20 back double track lines). A;lso it looks like the bubble has been attached high which I've also seen before. That all being said though I have had two sealed MOC's that AFA refused to grade saying they were reseals so I could be completely wrong.

Still at $1.77 it's probably worth a punt..... :D

Thanks for the reply Palifan oh I wish you could find these for $1.77 I have been looking for an ESB moc vader for what seems like an age and I am totally browned off with missing the slippery little buggers!

The MOC in question is genuine. No problems re bubble and seal.
Price might be an issue however as these seem to be going for a small fortune nowdays!

Good luck.
Christian

Thanks for all the positive relys guys its good to learn something new as there is clearly loads I don't know about MOC's many thanks all.
