Good spots in London for collecting?

I'm heading up to London on Thursday and was wondering if anyone had some good recommendations for places to check out? Obviously, there's Forbidden Planet, and I've been to some good comic shops that I'll definitely be returning to (and I have no doubt my brother's going to be dragging me through many vinyl shops, too), but I was wondering if there are any good second-hand toy shops or similar that I should check out?

Um - the honest answer is not many any more.

I think Gosh Comics is still there in Soho & Mega City Comics is up in Camden and there is Camden Market itself.

I've driven past Raygun in Richmond a lot (never been in) and there is Blakes Heaven in Putney (again, driven past a lot, never been in)

But thats about all I can think of now.

Check out these guys - Not London as such, but their Toyshop on tour Videos do show where vintage toy shops are around the UK (and Europe) - might find something interesting there: https://www.leicestervintage.co.uk/toyshopontour

The sad reality is all the collectors shops that used to be around Covent Garden & Soho like the Cinema Store, Orbital, Denmark St. (forget the actual store name) and others have long gone to wall - I remember working around there back in the early 00's and you could do a tour of about half a dozen places on a lunch break - Sadly Forbidden Plant (which is a shadow of what it used to be) is about it for central London these days....

That's a real shame. I'm new to collecting, but I get how much that sucks. I grew up watching all my favourite shops and restaurants slowly getting replaced by touristy rubbish that closes down in the off-season. It's like a ghost town in the winter.
I'll be in Richmond anyway, so I'll check out Raygun and take a look at those toy shop on tour guys. Mega City was already on my list but gosh comics is a new one, i'll give it a google! Thanks for the info!
