My daughter has a Rancor focus so we were excited when we heard the announcement. It's her Birthday today and it's just went live so we used that as an excuse to order it.
Now she's looking forward to her 2023 Birthday :)
Anyone else thinking about backing it?

Not for me. just don't have the room, hence why I didn't get any of the other Haslab projects.
seems to be doing ok though…

Not for me, no room, me and the lad went for the previous one Razorcrest …so that's due to arrive soon, no room for the Rancor though, even though it is literally a super beast!

The first stretch goal has been revealed.
This will be unlocked at 11000 subscribers.

To be honest we are thinking of backing out. Just does not look like it's worth the asking price. Hasbro haven't made any effort with the extras.
I know the final product might look better but yesterday's pictures were pretty awful

Just watching the numbers and there is a real chance this will reach 0 backers in the next 17 days before it reaches 9000.
some pretty scathing views on places like jeditemple about this one.
I have to agree - Haslab is meant to be about making the stuff that just can be justified in the main line (whatever that is these days) - a Rancor with some repackaged extras, seems a bit of a cop out when there are still ships and play sets untouched (death star, various cantina's...)
This was a very odd one.

Are they all repacks? I thought at least the Luke figure was new?

I was seriously considering it but having seen painted shots i changed my mind, the stretch goals are not very tempting, just seems like a few repacks and some fancy cardboard that should have been part of the packaging, just meh!

I see that following "feedback" Hasbro are now including the Rancor Keeper. A case of too little too late really...

Well, predictably given the mess that wasn't funded.... It will be interesting to see how this impacts future offerings.

I'm actually pretty relieved it didn't go through. I didn't think it was worth the money and was regretting backing it.
