Is It Worthwhile Getting My Palitoy Figures Graded Before Selling?

I am looking at selling my Palitoy figure collection in the new year and with the amount of scammers, etc going around these is it worth taking a short term financial and time hit to get my figures graded, or is it not worth the hassle if it doesn't add to much value on? What's everyone's opinions?

I have Unpunched MOC Darth Vader, Unpunched MOC Sand People, MOC C3PO, pics attached.

If you get them graded and get 80 or higher on them it's definitely worth doing, however you won't be getting them back until the middle of next year at the earliest.

Can`t you pay to get them graded quicker ?
As I have seen one item bought on ebay , then graded at 85, and flipped back on ebay in a short period of time. And it added £1238.00 to the price in a 6 week period.
I personally would think about grading them, as Carl stated above, if selling online it gives a bit of clarity for a buyer who might not be local.

AFA might take longer, and tbh I wouldn`t post anywhere at the moment. If you email UKG you can possibly meet and drop off to them. I personally wouldn`t post that Vader , I`ve only sent boxed items ages ago, with no long wait or postal delays. Plus it`s cold and I would be concerned about the bubbles. You could put them to auction if you are concerned about scammers, or approach a few reputable dealers on here or facebook.
Or wait until Echo live in February and book a table if you have a few items.

Definitely worth grading them IMO, as stated you will be waiting a long time. UKG charge £100 per item for a 7 working day turn around and £30 per item for a 3 month turn around. That's on top of the standard grading fee. UKG are running at 6 months which I think may be longer than AFA at the moment. UKG will meet you for collection. AFA will add the biggest premium to the value onve you have them graded. Also CAS is an option and they are offering free bubble protection with submissions at the moment which I have to say looks pretty good not like the previous attempts from AFA. Although that involves sending across to the U.S which isn't really what you want to be doing with items like that. You could just stick them in some sliding bottom cases from GW and keep them.
