Anyone seen this? Its been flagged up on RS.

Its good to see somebody is having a go as AFA have a monopoly at the moment but it needs a lot of work if anyone is to take them seriously

i thought of doing something too ? well i think the website needs to look a bit more proffessional as it looks a bit homemade... anyway good luck to him, if he does it right he could make a fortune ! 8)

Also as was stated on rebeltwats.com, how can they be trusted when they also sell items?

Don't like the cases and the backgrounds aren't great but good luck to them anyways. The AFA have monopolized the market for far too long...

I'm with Coco, the cases looks **** (is it 'one size fits all'?) and as for the backgrounds.........
Still if he is prepared to give it a go, good luck to the bloke!

Good luck to them to try and take some of the money away from afa AFA have monopolized the market for to long. But with 2 independant companies grading toys will grades be similar

The cases do look ****, but this company should be specialising in European variations rather than trying to compete with AFA.

they can both **** off ,the only thing i admire about afa is that they take your money to tell you how good your figure is.

Don't forget the special thing they do.
You know - take your money, tell you you have a nice graded card, shove it in a case and damage the edges then seal it up. That way no one will believe its the grade it got cause its damaged

Although it is refreshing for somebody to stand up and directly challenge AFA, for all the people who slag off AFA (and maybe with justified reason), somehow this new 'UK' grading company just doesn't have the conviction of AFA. Toy Grader is a money making machine, but as for piece of mind (and trust!) it IS widely accepted to collectors as where the 'final decision' lies, price wise and authenticity. IMO bring on AFA UK, because as far as I'm concerned all the anxiety's that the guy plugged on his website, ring true to me. (in regards to posting abroad and the tier structure).

Maybe this will be the boot in the arse for AFA to finally start grading in the UK? They mentioned they were looking into on their website a few years ago, then it disappeared.

Yeah, fingers crossed. I would fell much more comfortable taking figures in person to a UK based AFA. IMO Jason, the reason the idea disappeared is that they probably had a review of losses through P+P, insurance etc :|
