Jacqueline Pearce, the actress that played Supreme Commander Servalan in TV sci-fi drama Blake's 7, has died aged 74.

I loved Blake's 7 as a boy. Having been brought up on Star Wars, this was more sci-fi goodness to my young mind. I loved the spaceships and the characters, including the evil Servalan, played so brilliantly by Jacqueline Pearce. It was a wonderful show in its time, even if, unlike Star Wars, it hasn't aged particularly well! Nevertheless, I have extremely fond memories of first watching the show in the 70's and 80's, and Jacqueline Pearce will always be a fundamental part of that.

Rest in peace, Jacqueline.

Would love to see a decent remake of Blake's 7.

Hat's off to Jacqueline. She spent half the episodes stood in the same wet cold quarry in a different cocktail dress.

Don't be in too much if a hurry, it's not aged very well.
Now, an up to date remake would be very interesting.

Thanks, I am sure it will not be in 2018. I have just been out and buying dvd and blueray movies at garage sales with my girlfriend. So we have enough for the rest of 2018 :lol:
